We enjoyed this property. Such a great place for a little weekend get away. A short hike up the hill makes for a beautiful view as well as the back porch view. Nice and tucked away in the woods. Curvy roads, but mostly paved. There is a fireplace on the back porch for a nice cozy night fire. Would recommend staying here. When we arrived we were greeted by Gwen and Greg and a personalized sign with our name on it.

This place is beautiful. Deep creek was goegeous and the waterfalls were breathtaking. Amazing food options in the area and the town area, while there aren't a lot of options, is filled with life. The inside of the cabin was also clean, though most of our time was spent outside so I couldn't experience it much!

Although the weather didn't quite cooperate for us, it didn't diminish our stay one bit. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves from the time we got to the cabin until the time we left. The accommodations were great and the views from the mountain top were absolutely stunning. Will definitely be staying here again!

Marisa’s house is a beautiful cabin that was worth every penny. It is convenient to Brevard and the Pisgah Forest for the fishing and outdoor enthusiast. Marisa was very accommodating to my group and was prompt to responding to messages. The house was clean and lacked no amenities. The kitchen was well furnished with pots, pans, etc. and linens were plentiful. I would recommend Marisa’s place for anyone hoping to get away and stay in a beautiful part of North Carolina.

We had a great stay! The house was easy to find, very clean, had a beautiful view of the mountains, and within minutes of everything we wanted to do. Doing our stay we shopped in downtown Hendsersonville, did a hike, visited a vineyard (Point Lookout - ask for Mimi), listened to some homegrown live bluegrass /gospel music (Feed and Seed, Friday nights only), watched the Kentucky Derby at a local bar (Auction House), and grilled steaks on the front porch. Thank you Ken & Kim for hosting a much needed getaway.

We needed a place for our blended family to finally meet and have time together. One of the bedrooms had bunks which became the kids room. They loved it. They also loved the game room, playground and bathing in the heart shaped jacuzzi. The view is amazing, overlooking a pond with the mountains in the background. We had groups playing golf and tennis. It was too cold for the pool but I’m sure the kids would have been there if it was warm. There is a beautiful waterfall closer than I thought. There was plenty of room for everyone to dine and just be together. It is definitely a place we will keep in mind for future gatherings.

Absolutely beautiful home! I loved doing my morning yoga in the sunroom with the perfect view of the mountains. My husband and I spent a lot of time outside on the patio and nearby hiking trail, then relaxed on the couch to watch the sunset. Thank you for beautiful, peaceful getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at Eve's cabin and she had it decorated pefectly for the holidays. The large kitchen had everything we needed to cook family size meals for 6. Plenty of room to relax and watch movies in front of the cozy fireplace. Comfortable beds and the views from all parts of the cabin were amazing. We will definitely return if we are ever in the area again. Eve was great at communicating, quick to respond, and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed.
