Philip and Jonathan's apartment can be described in few words: The best Airbnb in history. The apartment is beautiful, the house lovely, the neighborhood is spectacular, right next to the center of Whittier with restaurants, cafes, a market, streets, shops, and everything anyone could need. Located at the same distance from all the places one might want to see in Los Angeles, we used it as a base to go to Pasadena, Santa Monica, Venice Beach, Hermosa Beach, Anaheim, and many other places. Philip and his family have the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in, and our family has been using Airbnb in various countries for 11 years. Their attention to detail, their kindness, the care with which they maintain their home, and the hospitality with which they make you feel like a friend and not a foreign visitor are incomparable. Great coffee, tea, snacks and beverages available included. We want to thank Philip and his family with all our hearts for all their attention. We hope to return soon.

Such a wonderful and cute space with so much character! It was a great, safe location with a private entrance. It had everything I needed. Would definitely stay here again.

I love staying at Katy’s place. I’ve stayed here at least three times it’s my go to when visiting my daughter. LaCrescenta is nestled up in the foothills of the Los Angeles Crest forest. It always has clean air, and beautiful magic-hour sunlight. This is a cozy one bedroom with a futon in a separate room , private entrance, private outdoor seating area. And I’m eternally grateful that I can bring gas over to just hang out and be together. It’s definitely a home away from home.

Clean place. Didn’t realize it was attached to a larger house. Not clear in the description. Luckily it was still quite private so that was nice. Very clean. Felt right at home. I was a little unsettled when I found that people were coming into the gated private area while we were staying there. Someone came to get the trash cans and the landscaper was also in the private gated yard and also blocked us in the driveway. While I understand the needs of these services a heads up would have been nice. Just unexpected. Other than that it was great and very close to the Disneyland resort.

I would definitely choose Steve and Kathy's studio if you want to visit LA, Pasadena, Glendale, or anywhere near San Gabriel Valley - and sample living in a well-appointed home in Eagle Rock. It's a perfect location with a beautiful view, quiet neighborhood, and great local restaurants. The studio looks just like the photos with amenities that anticipate every traveler's need (and a nearby Target should you need anything else!). Steve and Kathy are also very responsive and gracious hosts - thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a nice quite couple of days and nights in Lee's backyard bungalow. The bed was fantastic, bathroom was clean and beautiful. Everything was great. Would book again if ever out that way. Thank you.

this was a fantastic place to stay for the price. Rachel was a very attentive host and the rental had everything I needed. the only issue is that the neighbors have a dog that barks 24/7 and it makes it incredibly difficult to sleep being right outside the window. this is unfortunately not something that can be controlled, but it would have been nice to know, so I could have been more prepared.

Anand’s place is THE BEST value in Hollywood. In addition to an immaculate home, the backyard provides a secluded sanctuary to sit or walk the garden. I HIGHLY recommend this property! And thanks, Anand for a great weekend.

We have stayed here several times and have always been satisfied. Especially enjoy the patio with the lovely plants and flowers. Such a nice spot to enjoy morning or late afternoon tea. Will stay here again for sure.

Had a great stay while I was here for a week. It was nearby everything that I have potentially needed, far away from the chaos of L.A but close enough to where there's still lots to do. Gil was really accommodating and welcoming during my entire stay. Place looked exactly like the pictures, bed was comfy, and the bathroom was clean. would book again. thank you!

Great stay, very comfortable bed. Had everything we needed. The Wi-Fi was a bit spotty when streaming video but overall it was manageable

Consider this a solid recommendation for this place! The unit was immaculate and well provisioned. Nice and efficient set-up with far more space and amenities than any hotel room. Comfortable beds, convenient location that's both walk-able to downtown (though a short drive may be preferred) and has relatively easy access to main freeways. Easy to find, with its own, well-lit parking space. All the logistics went as smooth as could be, with an easy to use door lock and instructions for the stay. I'll likely be requesting this place again for my next visit to Claremont!
