Chimney Rock State Park is opening 6/27 by reservation only* Our cozy cabin is centrally located just above Main Street approximately 0.4 miles to downtown Chimney Rock and 1 mile from Lake Lure beach. This perfect mountain getaway will make you feel right at home with its up to date amenities while still feeling the 1940's charm. You can even get a view of Chimney Rock from the property in the fall/winter!

This unique place has a style all its own designed to emulate a Ranger Retreat /fire tower. The cabin has a commanding view of Chimney Rock and Hickory Nut Falls/Gorge. The cabin was built out of 100+year old reclaimed materials with 15 foot vaulted ceilings on the main floor. With poplar bark walls, incredible lighting, hand cut slate floors your stay is guaranteed to be enchanting. Sit in the hot tub and look at a waterfall while listening to another waterfall behind you and river below you.

We’re so happy to be back to hosting at our sweet little spot! Stay in an original 1920’s, newly renovated log cabin, located in the first established community of Chimney Rock. Nestled in between Chimney Rock Village/State Park and Lake Lure, you're just a quick walk (under a mile) to each. See views of Chimney Rock from your yard, equipped with a level gravel fire pit area, deck off of the master bedroom, level parking (room for 2-3 vehicles), as well as spaces for motorcycles, if needed.

Authentic log cabin tucked into Black Mountain near the attractions. Peaceful and quiet location close to Chimney Rock (15mins) and Downtown Black Mountain (25mins). *The road is open to locals. GPS may try to take you long way. Enjoy the sunset from the hot tub, dine outside under the tree canopy, cozy up by the fireplace or enjoy a cup of coffee on the porch swing. Just eight minutes from Lake Lure, 15 minutes from Chimney Rock, and very close to multiple hikes in the area, the beautiful Broad River, golf courses, stables, wineries and more.

Sophie's Cabin~ A Secluded and Charming Getaway

Sophie's cabin is tucked away in the forest of the gated Riverbend Community. It is a quiet retreat ideally suited for a couple looking to unplug and be in nature. It's both spacious and cozy with a private bedroom, full bathroom, full kitchen, and a comfortable living room. There is a large private deck behind the cabin with a dining set, gas grill, and 2 lounge chairs. A large Ingles grocery store and several restaurants are open nearby. Our private lake is open and as pretty as ever.

MILLION DOLLAR VIEW FROM YOUR FRONT PORCH This cozy cabin perched above Lake Lure is unlike any property in the area. Your privacy without neighbors on either side of you makes this the perfect getaway for family and friends. Directly across from Chimney Rock, you will see the beautiful sunsets, be minutes away from equestrian events, and only a short drive to the beach on Lake Lure. Truth is, once you arrive, you will not want to go anywhere else. The view is simply spectacular!

Our sweet retreat

Our Sweet Retreat sits down hill from the main road. With a private paved parking area. The house sits approximately 12 steps below parking area with large wrap around porch. The main living area is open with vaulted ceiling. There are two bedrooms on the main floor and a full bath . Upstairs is a small loft and master suite with full bath, fireplace & private deck overlooking the lake. There is a large stone fireplace on the North end of the cabin and a covered deck on the lakeside.
