AWD isn't needed (our Nissan Altima does great) It can be intimidating at first, but you will conquer and in no time enjoy the challenge! The cabin is in a mountain community called Ocona Lake Estates. Located 5 miles from Bryson City and 5 miles from Cherokee NC/ Oconaluftee Visitor. Catoloochee Ski resort is 18 miles.

This log home is ten minutes from downtown Bryson City with many restaurants and grocery stores. Also close to the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, white water rafting, tubing, Harrah's in Cherokee, and the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The views are gorgeous from the hot tub on the deck. Road to the cabin is mostly paved but the last few minutes are graveled with a few steep areas. The driveway is also. You'll need at least an all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive vehicle

The apartment is a 1965 square foot 2-bedroom with a king-size bed in each bedroom. A full kitchen, a very large living dining kitchen area, a private patio, a gas log fireplace, huge TVs, and a jaw-dropping view of WCU and Cullowhee NC and yes a killer hot tub to soak in the view. The best of everything!

High Calling is the lower level of a home on Cataloochee Mountain, at 4300’ elevation. Enjoy the panoramic views year round from a private covered porch or around the fire pit as you relax with the peaceful sound of the creek below. A charcoal grill is also provided. Two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, the other with one full bed and one twin bed face mountain views.
