this was a perfect getaway from our city life. tina's property is sooo beautiful. i loved how everything was pretty much in close proximity. her dog bug was very sweet and handsome. tina greeted us, gave us a quick intro, and gave us our privacy. i loved how there was an actual path to go into the woods. my boyfriend and i are definitely going to be visiting again sometime.

First time staying here. It's beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Friendly owners and dog (Mona). Nice fire pit to hang out. Very quiet. We stayed in the tent. Had plenty of room. Bring your own headlamps (flashlights) so you can walk around at night. Tent will need a lamp or your headlamps. There is no electricity, however you can go into the big kitchen area and they have charging outlets. Bathrooms were pristine and smelled really nice. Property was clean as well. Didn't see any trash on the ground. You can stay in several different places within the property. They are well spaced, so privacy is nice. They have yurts and A frame cabins. Would definitely recommend. Check their schedules because they don't always have air bnb. They're seasonal.

We can’t recommend a stay at Laura’s property more highly! She has created a magical oasis at Gatherwild. The property and its surroundings are stunning, and offer plenty to do and see without ever leaving (beautiful walking trails, friendly farm animals, vegetable gardens, games and crafts)— our kids were in heaven. The location is also ideal, close to lots of great food, culture, and nature. Sleeping quarters were clean and comfy, and the communal kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked. It made for a seamless glamping experience with our kids. Laura was a wonderful host and we hope to come back soon!

What a serene spot to unplug. Sipping coffee next to goats and having fresh eggs from the chickens was idyllic. After one weekend I was ready to move in.

There's not much more to say that I haven't said in the last 4 reviews...we LOVE it here. At this point Steven and Rick feel like old friends and staying at their place is something we look forward too each summer. Wonderful hosts, perfect accommodations, peace and tranquility everywhere.

Had a cozy stay in this charming tipi. It was cold and very windy outside in late autumn, but the fire inside kept me warm as I caught up on some reading. The view at the site was spectacular and the surrounding trails are quite pretty as well.

We had an amazing time at Eshay’s Cabin. It’s in a lovely location. Close to all the beautiful swimming holes and Georges in Ithaca. We will definitely be back. Thank you Eshay.

WE LOVED THE PLACE! Carrie and John were amazing hosts and their wonderful RV elevated our experience and memories that my boyfriend and I will be sure to cherish for a lifetime. For those of you wondering, a bathroom (toilet and shower stall) is located in the RV, however we preferred their bathhouse which was within easy walking distance. Kitchen is fully equipped with basic necessities such as utensils, pots, basic condiments etc. We appreciated the availability of an outdoor gas grill and gas stove that were fully functional. Also it's worthy mentioning there is a fire pit fully stacked with an ample amount of firewood [and a hilly-billy pool which we didn't get to enjoy due to weather]. For those who are planning on a day trip for Ithaca's beautiful scenery, the Buttermilk Falls State Park is about 20 minutes drive; and 15 minutes drive to the nearest Dollar General store should there be any last minute shopping. We had an absolutely fantastic time staying in the RV for the first time! The experience was unique and exceeded our expectations. The RV was clean, well-maintained, and had all the essentials we needed for a comfortable stay. It was surprisingly spacious, cozy, and gave us a real taste of the RV lifestyle. What really stood out was our host’s hospitality. They were incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. They took the time to explain how everything worked, which made us feel at ease as first-timers. The attention to detail—from the welcome snacks to providing local tips—made our stay feel personal and extra special. If you’re looking for a fun and different getaway, I highly recommend this RV stay. We’ll definitely be back!

WHERE do I start? to sum it up, book the tiny! It was our first visit to the finger lakes for a birthday weekend and it was amazing. The tiny had every single thing you could think of to need. You can tell that Sarah and Mitch put so much love and effort into building the tiny, we felt right at home. We brought our pup and not only did the tiny have everything us hoo-mans could need.. it had everything your doggo could need as well. the location is amazing- close to everything. So many great recommendations, quiet, relaxing, comfortable.. truly a 12/10 experience and we cannot wait to stay at the tiny again.

Lucas and Mari's home was such a nice getaway from the city life. The space was exactly as shown in the description and everything was easy to spot. Lucas and Mari are such warm hosts who go above and beyond to help you have a smooth and enjoyable stay. The space was so peaceful and you really get to "unplug" from the outside world and just have a nice quiet space.

My niece and I spent 4 nights at Mike’s little campground. Mike greeted us as we pulled in and directed us where to park. He showed us our camper and made sure we knew how to operate things. He showed us the common spaces and told us about the 80+ acres there was to explore. He made sure to let us know we could contact him any time to ask questions or for recommendations, etc. The space was amazing; with two cute frog ponds, a community pavilion and gazebo tent with a fire pit. There were games for both kids and adults and a “fridge” full of arts and crafts. The four spaces available each had their own fireplace, picnic table and outdoor rug with a privacy fence for times when you just wanted to be in your own space. We only had neighbors for two days. Everyone was friendly and enjoyable. We traveled around the area and enjoyed the state parks, cute towns, museums, and even made it to a sunflower maze. Mike frequently checked in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves.

it was absolutely amazing and so peaceful, he was such a responsive host. we were so relaxed and loved the recommendations to visit the local area. can't wait to go back!

glamping tent was super cute! nice little area! little bit of a hike to the bathroom and the traffic from the main road was a little loud at times but definitely a cute little place with comfortable setting! host was very nice and helpful cute little pizzeria a few miles away! would stay again! one suggestion would be a few outdoor lights for when it gets dark!

It was our second time visiting The Mountain Dale. We missed the best-to-visit months and went in November. We don't regret going in the colder temperatures and went prepared with lots of warm bedding and clothing. The tiny houses are so cozy and surrounded by nature. The kids were VERY excited about meeting the farm pigs grazing fallen apples in the Orchard in the morning. We highly recommend arriving in daylight hours. Due to unforeseen delays we arrived after sunset and it was quite hard to set up and unpack in the dark, with minimal light and kids in the mix! We are looking forward to return next year during apple season.

Wonderful stay and such a unique experience in the Skoolie!!! The bus is really well maintained and sparkling clean, with well equipped mini kitchen, comfy beds, cozy living space! As we were transitioning into winter when we were there, I highly recommend taking extra sleeping bags as it can get cold during the night. Darren was a very responsive host and the location was great for hiking, without being too remote with very nice restaurants nearby. We can’t wait to return in the summer!

We loved our stay at The Nook! The space was small but very cozy, clean and well-maintained. The outdoor tub and lawn games were nice as well. Chantal was a great host, helpful and very communicative. Would recommend!!

Chance's airbnb was fantastic... plenty of space for my family with small children to enjoy ourselves. Chance was also very friendly and responded to questions almost immediately. My family and I will definitely be booking again next year, maybe without the kiddos. Everything was very clean, very nice dishes and cookware were available too. There were enough linens for all of us, towels, blankets, washcloths, shampoo, conditioner just went all out to make sure you're comfortable. I wouldn't change anything about our stay except maybe that we stayed longer. There was a beautiful dog Harley that we fell in love with that Chance let us play with for awhile also. This is a great space to enjoy time with your family. Chance is a great host. Out in the middle of nowhere, but felt right at home.

We truly enjoyed our time at this location. Jared was responsive and so helpful anytime we inquired about something. On top of that we found it peaceful and with ample things to do nearby.

I knew I made a good choice as soon as we turned into the drive. It was exactly as advertised and better. We loved the location and can’t wait to come back again!

We loved our stay in the camper! Everything was spotless and had all we needed and more. We had room for 2 adults and 2 kids to sleep, enough space too cook simple meal and play cards on the indoor table when it rained, or cook on the campfire and eat at the picnic table! Great location very central to hikes, paddle spots, a few mins from town and a quick drive to Lake Placid or Tupper Lake! My kids loved the duck coop on the pond, that was a pleasant surprise. We would definitely recommend!

Hana and Kevin were amazing hosts who were extremely accommodating both with check in and check out times. The Airstream setup is ideal-settled amongst a beautiful meadow where you can take a long walk and commune with nature. Hana & Kevin provide a covered outdoor area set up for games, dining, bbq-ing along with a fire pit. Relatively close to wineries, cideries, hiking, and great eateries – It was a perfect getaway/ retreat for us. Will definitely be back again 😊

Such a cool place. Toby was super helpful at check in. Kayaking in the river was fun and the property is historic and unique.
