Great home to stay in with a family. Lots of kid friendly amenities. Walking to great cafes and delicious restaurants as well as a park. Love the hot tube and deck decor - truly a great place to lounge and relax.

Vanessa's place is in a very very quiet neighborhood just steps from the bay. I am a SD native, I know the city very well. I actually lived in the area for many years. This place is totally worth it if your traveling with a family with kids. Plenty to do, plenty of space to sit and relax inside and outside. It has plenty of things to keep kids busy from books to toys very very nice touch. If available when we return definitely will be staying here. The short walk to watch the sunset in the ocean is worth every penny..

We arrived very late our first night and could night find liquid soap for our showers. I texted the host and he said it would be outside our door in a few minutes and sure enough there it was! Home was absolutely beautiful with a gorgeous pool and hot tub! Everything was spotless and bathrooms pristine. We highly recommend this Airbnb!

House was clean and comfortable. Check in and check out went smoothly. Communication was great with the owner. Perfectly accommodated our family and location was great. We loved that Better Buzz was within walking distance for a coffee! Grocery store and restaurants also close by. Would highly recommend this rental!

Had a weeklong stay and enjoyed the house and all the amenities. The kids loved the pool and hot tub, the neighborhood was peaceful and quite and a neighborhood market directly across the street. There was a small park two blocks from the house, perfect walking distance with lots of restaurants, an ice cream shop and a local brewery. The hosts were easy to communicate with and responded quickly to all messages. Would definitely recommend this home to any of my friends and will be my go to on my next trip to San Diego.

We enjoyed our amazing stay! The pool was closed for maintenance the first day, and Lacee was great at giving updates for it. Beautiful home with lots of space!

This house is a hidden gem. Vi had everything you could ever need in all areas of the house. The kitchen had every appliance, air fryer, rice cooker, ect that anyone would need. Had a ton of toys inside and outside for the kids to play with besides pack-n-play x2, high chair, baby gates, ect. Vi was always super responsive. The washer broke and she had someone out the next day and she said if they couldn't fix it, she would take our laundry and wash it herself!! Super clean, pool was warm, had a fruit plate and smores waiting for us as well as candy. We are already looking at dates to book again!

Randy’s place was fantastic. It was as described and depicted in photos. Randy was a great host. He was very accommodating and accessible. The place was comfortable and clean. The living space/kitchen/dining area was great for our group of 6 adults. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable and quiet. The location was amazing. One small block to the beach. The grocery store and coffee/bars are so close. We used the bikes, Prokadima and beach chairs. Such a great place for the price. Thank you Randy for sharing your place with us!

Don is a super responsive host. The location could not be any better, especially for the price point. The place is very basic however based on the location, I can understand why as there is a lot to do outdoors as you are a few steps away from the beach and everything else, shops, restaurants, amusement park and so much more. You are minutes away from the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Old Town and the Gas Lamp District. This location is not only good for folks with children but also great for young adults as there is plenty of night life a short walk away. We are from Los Angeles, however we felt as though we were vacationing in another states hot spot. We truly enjoyed our stay and plan to return. We booked Suan and Jessica's place for Easter weekend. We had planned a trip to the Flower Gardens and Legoland in Carlsbad, both of which were less than 20 minutes away from where we were staying. Not only was the place conveniently located, it offered us a spot to enjoy our family's company and dedicate our time to our grandaughter. We barbecued, watched movies, swam in swimming pool, did our own arts and crafts, etc. We had an overall amazing time at a reasonable price without the chaos and limitations of booking a hotel room. We would definitely book this place in the future if we are in the area.

I highly recommend it! Richard was a great host, I had my family visiting from Italy stay at his place. There are two comfortable bedrooms, a really cute kitchen and a living room. One bathroom. The place is a but old, but there was everything they needed and it is well maintained. Also well cleaned. My favorite part was how communicative and responsive Richard was.

Our multigenerational family of six enjoyed our stay at Dan’s Oceanside home, and we will definitely stay here again. If you value privacy, safety, and comfort, you will love Dan’s place for you and your family. We are a no pet, no smoking, no alcohol drinking, no shoes indoors, environmentally conscious family and Dan’s clean, comfortable, safe, and relaxing home was the perfect find. If you enjoy cooking like we do, the kitchen is well equipped with excellent quality cookware and appliances. The house does not have central AC but there are ceiling fans, which we used, and portable fans (which we didn’t need to use) as the house gets a nice breeze throughout. If you are sensitive to sound, you can definitely hear some minimal noise from nearby highway and trains, but nothing we couldn’t tolerate. Hot tub operation is remotely controlled and requires contact with Dan to be heated. House manual with information/rules to make sure everyone has a pleasant stay, is respectful of property

We stayed at Pete's place because it has a gorgeous pool (the pool slide was a huge hit), is close to Del Mar racetrack, and is close to the beach/ocean (you can see the ocean from the front yard). We took our two Bichons and felt safe and secure letting them out. We have family in San Diego and had a small family cook out on Sunday. The grill was awesome, and there are lots of fun things to do on the property, front and back yards. We didn't take advantage of the jacuzzi, but it was already heated up. Since the house doesn't have air conditioning, there were fans in the family room and bedroom. Large kitchen, so you can cook and bake if you don't want to eat out all the time. The house is single story, but outside there are lots of levels where you have to go up and down some single steps,so small children would need help and elderly or disabled folks may need help, too. Pete gave great directions about how to access the main entrance, and the self check-in security code.

Our group travels annually for cycling trips and Tim's place worked fantastic for us. The outdoor areas were a hit for our group. The kitchen is well appointed and the bedrooms are separated from the common areas so they are quiet. Tim met us at check in and outlined the home audio system and kitchen. We would definitely enjoy staying at Tim's for future trips.

The host was incredibly responsive and quickly took care of any issues that arose, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The backyard was a highlight—serene, peaceful, and beautifully landscaped. The value for the price was definitely worth it, and we'd highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location for access to the beach and local restaurants and centrally located within a short drive to the heart of San Diego. Access to bikes a nice plus for rides along the beach. Unit was clean and comfortable, no complaints.

This was a beautiful and recharging getaway for me, my husband and my friend. We really enjoyed the space, the fireplace, the comfortable beds, and well working hot tub. The nature was beautiful and the hosts were very responsive to our needs during our stay. We would love to come back again.
