Our recent stay at this mountain house was absolutely delightful! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the thoughtful touches that made our trip so enjoyable. While there were definitely guidelines for guests, the signs outlining what not to do were presented in such a charming and whimsical way that they added to the overall character of the home rather than feeling restrictive. It was clear the hosts have a great sense of humor! Beyond the stunning location, we were so impressed by how organized everything was. Every item seemed to have its designated place, making it incredibly easy to settle in and find what we needed. This level of organization truly enhanced our stay and allowed us to relax and focus on enjoying our vacation rather than searching for misplaced items. We loved the hot tub and made it a must before bed. Overall, this mountain house offered the perfect blend of natural beauty, thoughtful hospitality, and charming quirks. We would absolutely come back!!!

Great stay for a short weekend! Private location but only a short drive to all the things to do in Asheville. Would highly recommend!

This home is one of the prettiest places I have stayed off of air bnb! It is every bit as good as the pictures you see. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quaint peaceful experience!

This place is listed in the top 1% of all Airbnb’s - and rightfully so! We chose this cabin because we were looking for an unplugged getaway for our first wedding anniversary and WOW! What a beautiful place. It’s the perfect amount of space for two, and extremely well-kept. The space is clean and well-appointed throughout. The automatic shades, Frame TV, and dimmable lights through were all nice touches. We spent a ton of time in the hot tub! It’s a little over 20 minutes from downtown Asheville, so close enough to enjoy the city but far enough to get away. Jessica was a great host! It’s clear she really cares about her guest and went out of her way to make sure that we felt celebrated for our anniversary. We will definitely be back again when we’re in town. Not much of a “hidden gem” anymore, but deserving of the hype for sure!

What a beautiful and unique cabin in a beautiful area. Great jump off point for the surrounding Asheville area. Weaverville is a great little town with everything you need. June was an amazing host, very responsive and you can tell she genuinely wants you to enjoy your stay. Cozy nights spent on the back porch with the hot tub. Short walk to downtown Weaverville for coffee at Yellow mug for breakfast. There is so much to do in the area which means ill have to come back! I would definitely stay at this cabin again! This cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. We loved that it was secluded but still close enough to the stores so it wasn’t a hassle to grab last minute things. This was honestly one of the most well kept air bnbs I’ve stayed in. The owner was very helpful with detailed instructions from how to get there to how to use the door lock. We would definitely stay here again!

The cabin was incredibly serene and quiet, with everything in the book needed to relax through your entire stay. Lucy was attentive and incredibly kind, offering not only a hearty list of wonderful recommendations (Yellow Mug being our favorite for breakfast/Coffee, my wife still raves about their Avocado toast), but she also left us a heartwarming welcome basket and message upon arrival that celebrated our honeymoon. The big swing overlooking the sunset is incredible, too. We can't recommend this place and Lucy enough and will remember our stay for the rest of our lives.

Great Location close to downtown but in a tranquil setting.

The house was beautiful and the front porch was amazing! Beds were very comfortable. A few suggestions would be to better supply the kitchen with more of a variety of pots and pans, maybe a griddle. None of us could get either tv to work; we all tried and never got anything. The most difficult thing for me were the toilets. They were extremely low and there was nothing to help you get up. We were all older and that was a real problem for us. Everything else was terrific and we truly enjoyed our stay!

We loved staying in this little cabin! It was easy to get to and felt very private and cozy. The views were nice, but being able to see the stars at night was great. The little backyard area was perfect for our little pooch to sniff around. We didn't take advantage of being able to walk around the farm, but if we had stayed longer we would have. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure/temperature of the shower were great! I will say it wasn't quite possible to walk down to the river, but it was to no fault of the host. They were doing construction and cleanup on that section of the river when we were there. We expected there to be flood cleanup, so we didn't mind at all. Lots to do, see, and eat in Asheville which is only a quick drive away. Overall we loved our little weekend away and would recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful night!

I stayed at this house with some friends for a rock climbing trip, and it was the perfect location. Only a 6min drive from Rumbling Bald, this spot was very well located for our climbing desires. The view from the deck and hot tub were amazing.

Highly recommend! Though the area is recovering from the recent hurricane damage, we had a pleasant stay and would come back.

This is a wonderfully serene, quiet space set in the beautiful landscape of Black Mountain. Extremely convenient access to Downtown Black Mountain which was greatly appreciated with all the events in town. Very close to one of my favorite music venues made for the perfect experience for those of us who love the area for the music, as well as all of the other attractions. Elisha was proactive and very responsive in terms of communication. Check in was seamless and as described in the app. Definitely one to keep on your short list if you are a frequent visitor like me.

Alexandra was very responsive and assisted with any needs during our stay. We loved the area and how peaceful it was. Our dogs Lilo & Pookah had the best time having a backyard, which isn’t our normal. We had a great stay and would come back again! We loved the cozy details through out and how clean it was when we arrived. We felt right at home and were able to relax. The views were beautiful and there are plenty of windows and two porches to see them from. Stephanie was very helpful and responsive. One of our favorite stays!

This place was so dreamy!! The views are amazing. Everything matched the description. It was close to many trails that made it easy to explore the area. It was easy to get to and from town if you needed to. I would definitely recommend arriving in the daylight (as the host mentioned). We arrived late due to our work schedules and it was a little nerve wracking to find initially in the dark. However, the directions they have listed are spot on! It was hot while we were there, but the cabin stayed a comfortable temperature. The shower was fun and somewhat comical. We left the water in the solar bag while we went on a large hike but when we came back, most of it had leaked out and there was bugs floating in what was left in the bag. I boiled water and mixed with cold and my shower was otherwise enjoyable! Again, this property was so cool! We would definitely go back!

We enjoyed visiting the River arts district, funky shops in downtown AVL, kayaking on the French Broad and a hike to Catawba Falls. Sitting on the deck in the mornings looking out into the lovely sun dappled woods, listening to the birds and ejoying unhurried conversations (with our human friends) was as compelling as any of the planned activities.

Such a wonderful place to stay! Beautiful cabin in a beautiful location!

It was a great stay!! The kids loved the house and felt very comfortable in the twin bedroom. My daughter loved the set up and felt comfy in the bed that was tucked away! Cute place and enjoyed our stay, thank you again!

This little vintage cabin by the creek was just what the doctor ordered. If you want to feel like you’ve stepped back into Mamaw’s house this is the place! The thoughtfully designed deck (built around the trees instead of chopping them down) leading to the outdoor patio was much appreciated and enjoyed. Met David our first morning there and really enjoyed chatting with him and his dog. Will definitely check availability next time we’re coming to Asheville for a show!

Great location! The cabins are right on the river and only a short drive from Asheville and the blue ridge parkway. This was our second time staying here for a hiking trip.

Thank you Kelly & Jim for being welcoming, responsive hosts, and providing a safe and private stay. this was the first time I was able to enjoy all the amenities offered! the kitchen provided all the appliances, condiments, while being clean and organized. the bathroom provided many towels which was a nice touch! Would absolutely come back and stay here again!! :)

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin in Black Mountain! The cabin was spotless, thoughtfully stocked, and had fun games that kept the kids entertained. The outdoor space was private, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. It’s in a great location—close to hiking trails and just a short drive to downtown. We would absolutely stay here again!

First time back in Asheville since the hurricane and I’m so glad we made the trip! Chris and Anna’s place is a lovely getaway that feels secluded but still only a short distance from downtown Asheville. It’s near a few local coffee shops and restaurants so you can get your fix in even if you want to stay local! The house itself is lovely and styled well. We felt right at home! Will stay again.
