Dolfan Barn Studio is so named because an artist once worked here, prior to that it was a cow byre. Just under a mile out of the village of Beulah the Studio is a perfect place to unwind. You will find plenty of wildlife to watch from the patio including Pheasants Squirrels and Red Kites. The village has a service station, shop and "The Trout Cafe" serving good home cooked food. The decor has been styled to create an arty feel, each room individually designed depicting 1 of 5 of my favourite artists. Gustav Klimt adorns the large open plan lounge/kitchen/dinner, Lowry in the king size bedroom & en-suite, Monet in the double bedroom en-suite , Picasso in the hall and Hockney in the minstrel’s gallery.

The bedroom is in a converted barn with its own access. Ideally located for walkers and easy access to the Royal Show Ground. Please note that the access to the house is via a fairly steep and narrow lane (last section is a track with loose gravel), not suitable for HGVs. We now provide super fast internet!!

‘Craig Fach’ rural Coach House near Builth Wells

‘Craig Fach’ is the coach house at the lodge built for Lord Merthyr. Downstairs, there is a lounge with a double sofa bed, desk and smart TV/DVD, a shower room and a well equipped kitchen diner leading to an outside patio area with table. The upstairs rooms are accessed via external staircases, and include a double room with kingsize bed, a twin room, another shower room and an outside seating area on the decking. There is ample parking on the driveway.
