We had a comfortable stay in this beautiful house for two weeks. We loved how close it is to the beach and the sea view from the bedrooms. Very easy to walk around and there is a variety of shops within walking distance. The sofas and beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Our cat also enjoyed the place and her little walks in the garden. It was generally very quiet, other than the neighbour's dogs clockwork barking sessions at 11pm & 7am. Our only comment was that the house was freezing when we arrived and it took many hours to heat up, causing one of us a nasty headache the next day. It would be nice if the heating was turned on a bit earlier. Once it was warm, it did maintain the heat quite well. Other than that everything was great and would visit again, especially when the weather gets better!

Absolutely beautiful home, in a really lovely quiet park very child friendly and lots to keep them busy too Kaye made the whole process so easy I'm only sorry I could only stay one night id really like to come back here for a week a beautiful place thanks Kaye

James was good at communicating, and left clear instructions for everything. He also met us on arrival. The bungalow was as per the description and photos (please note that bed 3-twin room has drawer clothes storage but no hanging space). It's clean, light and airy. The bungalow was in a quiet location and yet close to amenities and a short walk to the beach. We had 3 cars between us and were easily able to fit them on the driveway. We would happily return!" I can't think of anything else that any potential guest would need to know above the information on Airbnb and reviews already left.

This was an ideal place for what we wanted - a short overnight stay while attending an event. Contained everything we needed and whithin easy reach of the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at Catherine’s cottage. It is cosy and matched exactly the photos. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful and everything is a walking distance. Easy to get to the beach and the pier, plus the lake which is such a beautiful spot in Southsea. Catherine was proactive and supportive regarding the parking space providing all the instructions and even being kind and understanding with us when we had a confusion. I would totally recommend her place and would feel glad to be her guest again when visiting Portsmouth in the future.

Stargazer cottage was perfect for a weekend away with friends. The cottage was easy to find and really close to the ferry port if you have a car. The cottage is private and secure and is surrounded by beautiful gardens and scenery. We loved the dogs and were very happy to see a wagging tail each morning! We enjoyed a short walk around the gardens to find the 3 ponds and say hi to the shetland ponies. The beds were comfortable and everything was spotless and great amenities including cereal/tea/milk/bread so we didn’t need to buy any extra food for breakfast. Nicola was super responsive and a great host.

We had a lovely few days staying in The Cabin. It was a great place to stay whilst exploring the beaches and local area. The place was spotless, well-equipped and had super comfy beds - we all slept so well! The space is stylish and well thought out with lots of little thoughtful touches - such as labelled lights and instructions to help you with how things work - made life easier. Thank you also for the welcome hamper of delicious goodies and option of borrowing games, wetsuits and body boards. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

We had a great time, the house, facilities and games were great. The view over the sea is lovely to wake up to. We had everything we needed and if i come back that way i would definitely try to go there again. Dean left us some provisions in the house and the welcome cake was a nice touch. Thank you Dean.
