Brilliant wee guest house. It's basic, but for the price we paid over Easter Weekend, absolutely no complaints. Room was clean, beds were comfy, and central pier is a 2 minute walk away. Owners were really nice as well! Would happily stay here again!

This is a brilliant location for all major attractions. You cannot fault the cleanliness that Freddie provides and he is very helpful and accommodating. He made the effort to ensure we were all on the same floor (our party was 8 adults and 7 kids) which we appreciated. It ain’t The Ritz, but it doesn’t set out to be

Another last minute booking whilst on the road. Sue responded immediately and all of her directions were crystal clear. Sue even left a few things in the fridge to help me out which was appreciated. Great place, private parking with virtually an onsite security guard! If I’m ever in the area again will be sure to book!

A absolutely beautiful place and one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed at. The host was super friendly and couldn’t do enough for me. The place was stunning and I felt right at home. Everything you could imagine was there. After searching around this place was by far the best and I would defiantly stay here again. Thanks for making my stay so nice.

We were so lucky to find this gem of a place within our budget so close to our family I stayed with my mum who has mobility issues and my two teenage daughters This place is so safe and secure and peaceful It’s a gem of a place- quite magical It’s really beautiful and abbie is the perfect host- there when you need making sure everything is alright without pestering you and respecting your privacy Would love to stay again Thank you abbie

We had a great stay at Box Tree Escapes! The lodge was a perfect base camp for the Yorkshire Three Peaks, with the starting point being only a 20 min drive away. After our mammoth hike, the hot tub was a real life dream. It was even companied with a spectacular view of the milky way at night! It would have been even better if the lodge had body wash to compliment the fantastic showers! We would definitely come again.

Perfect! Immaculately clean, spacious, extremely well equipped and a very comfy bed. Off road parking, right outside the cabin. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing to stay in the area and I would definitely come back. Many thanks

We had an idyllic stay at Jo and Mick's log cabin. Jo has really put her heart into the holiday home: it is immaculate and beautifully presented. The view of the pond and gardens to wake up to each morning makes your heart sing and the accommodation is calming and peaceful. Jo and Mick are lovely hosts. Jo very kindly gifted us home-made jam, chutney and flapjacks on our arrival, as well as milk, tea, cheese and crackers. This was really thoughtful and much appreciated. The cabin is well located for Longton nature reserve, Booths, Martin Mere, Ainsdale beach and Preston itself. Internet connection is excellent, beds are comfy, wet room/shower good and lounge cosy board games as well as TV (my two are now Scrabble devotees!). Jo really has thought of everything and her love and pride of the property shine through. Highly recommended and would happily stay again.

Myself and my cousin had the most enjoyable stay. The hosts Danny & Deborah made us feel really welcome, and were very friendly. The lodge was clean, and tastefully furnished, and set in beautiful grounds, and had everything we needed. We stayed from Thursday 27th March 2025 - Saturday 29th March, and was furtunate enough to be blessed with wall to wall sunshine, so was able to take advantage of the beautiful weather. We had a great two night stay with our dog, a very clean and spacious property with everything we needed. Private with off road parking and conveniently located. Would definitely recommend.
