Only a short distance to the magnificent Shropshire Hills which offer excellent hiking and cycling and also only a short drive to Shrewsbury Town Centre which is famous for its medieval buildings, Norman castle and Abbey. Wonderful spacious apartment with large double bedroom, separate living room with sofa and kitchen area, private bathroom and shower room. Ideal for long weekends or long term stays. The apartment is a completely self-contained section of our large Tudor house dating from 1525. We live in the main section of the house with our two children. The apartment is spacious and has big touch of history thrown in. You'll be sleeping in a room where people have slept for around 500 years!

A romantic historic tower for 2

The Summerhouse Tower is a very special holiday-home-for-two set within the rolling Shropshire countryside. A Grade II listed tower, this unique, romantic retreat enjoys excellent views to the east, and views of the Shropshire Hills to the south and the west. The Tower, built circa 1607, was originally used as a banqueting house for entertaining dinner guests. Whilst the main house was destroyed by a fire, The Summer House is available for cosy stays throughout the year.
