The village has two pubs, a village store-cum-café, and Berkhamsted has many quality pubs and restaurants. The main house is lived in by Trevor, and Graham lives a few miles away. We are both keen cyclists and walkers and can offer guidance about the local area.

Lots of walks nearby either to the pubs in Little Missenden, Penn woods and Penn Street or further into Old Amersham. Shared use of a large garden and tennis court.

Badgers Retreat is a charming, compact two bedroom cottage centrally located in the picturesque and sought after village of Aldbury. The cottage is situated within easy distance of all the village amenities and attractions, as well as the delights of the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside that surrounds the village.
