Beautiful Yurt with breathtaking South Downs views

Westerlands is Set in the South Downs National Park, on a quiet farm, this beautiful self built yurt, makes it a peaceful spot for a romantic getaway. Breathtaking views of the South Downs from the accommodation make this a stunning setting, with plenty of gorgeous woodland walks close by, as well as links to the South Downs Way and several lovely local pubs nearby. We offer horse riding, Wildspa with sauna and cold plunge, outdoor fitness classes, yoga, massage and more. Why not treat yourself?

Room with private bathroom, own entrance & parking

Bright and private double room on ground floor, with Netflix. Safe driveway parking. The room has a separate entrance and a private ensuite bathroom, fridge, electric cooking hob and microwave. University, RBH and Reading town within a walking distance, TVP a short drive. There is no outside space, but a nice neighbourhood with shops, botanical gardens, and museums is within a short walk. If you need both beds, please note there'll be very little floor space left. Our quiet hours are 11pm-6am.

We have now completed a major renovation of the cottage and are taking bookings. The Mangle was once part of the Salisbury Steam Laundry. We are situated in the Eastern Chequers of the city, within a short walk of the Cathedral, Market square (Saturday market), Theatre, Arts Centre, Everyman cinema and Train station. There is a secure parking space for guests and use of gym (at guest’s risk). Unfortunately we cannot accommodate babies or children.
