Brigitte and her husband provided us with the most magical stay imaginable during our time on Pico Island. We arrived on Easter Sunday in poor weather so not much was open. We spoke with Brigitte in advance and she was able to arrange one of the most incredible meals we have had so far on the trip to be delivered to the unit for our Easter dinner (for a fee of course). There were plentiful welcome items provided for us, toiletries, and a personal pool, hot tub and sauna available for our use. The views and descriptions in the posting are exactly as described, if not more magnificent. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness during our stay and I would highly recommend this property to any traveler seeking a beautiful, private location to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Pico. We hope to come back again someday!

Erg mooie locatie midden in de natuur. Fijne communicatie. Winkeltje voor o.a. vers brood op loopafstand. Jacuzzi op het terrein was top en 24/7 beschikbaar.

We had such a lovely time staying at Brigitte’s place! The views are incredible and we had the best time sitting in the hot tub and sauna. Brigitte was very responsive and the most accommodating and wonderful host. The welcome basket with delicious local treats was a particularly nice touch, and so kind and generous! Highly recommend this place for a relaxing vacation with some of the best views on the island!

A true gem. The casita, perched atop a small mountain, offers 360-degree views, including a stunning ocean vista. Immersed in nature and fresh air, the peace is profound. Well-maintained walking trails wind through the property with frog ponds and bird-filled trees. The casita was spotless, thoughtfully appointed, and the bed was comfy with soft, quality linens. Every detail made it feel like a home away from home. One of the true joys was spending time with the donkeys each morning and evening—gentle, sweet companions that added to the charm. The hosts are simply wonderful. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, they made me feel like family. Their care and hospitality elevated my stay beyond just a getaway—it was an experience of connection, relaxation, and renewal. If you are looking for beauty, tranquility, and heartfelt hospitality, this is the perfect retreat. I am looking forward to my return!

Staying at Banana Eco Camp was great. The last time I got to sleep in a cabin was probably way back at summer camp during elementary school, but I've never stayed in a cabin this fancy – it had a comfy bed and electricity. There was a kitchen with a dining area, a toilet, and a shower available, and we never had any issues with hot water. A great bonus was the café right there at the camp, where we could grab breakfast with a delicious local coffee. It was a really cool experience for us, and we'd love to come back again. Communication with the camp owner was excellent – he explained everything to us and happily answered all our questions. I'd definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Très bon séjour ! Atypique, nous avons finalement opté pour le chalet 4 personnes car la salle de bain et le wc se trouve à l’intérieur , l’espace y est plus confort ! Les petits déjeuners face à la mer sont incontournables! Marcel , Bernardo et Elysabetha son juste aux petits soins ;) Petit plus le régime de bananes à volonté est largement apprécié ^^ Petit moins , pas de plage baignable à côté .. mais des piscines naturelles à proximité.. je recommande vivement l’expérience.

This place was absolutely wonderful! The cabins are very basic but cozy and comfortable, the camp is so quiet and pretty to be in and the host was always helpful and friendly. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful place where to disconnect, be near the sea and also enjoy some delicious local coffee and breakfast.

Impresionante lugar, con todo lo necesario y un entorno privilegiado. Marcel ha sido muy amable y servicial explicando todo .

J'ai adoré le Banana Eco lodge. L'emplacement était très bien situé. Nous pouvions marcher à l'épicerie et aller souper en ville. Nous avons cuisiné une majorité de nos repas et il y avait amplement d'espace pour nous et les autres visiteurs. Le café de Coffee Banana vaut clairement le détour(parole de barista)! Marcel communiquait des informations pertinentes à Terceira quelques semaines avant notre arrivée, très très apprécié! De mignons chats habitent les lieux et les douches et toilettes étaient très propres. De quoi de sentir chez soi dès les premiers instants! Un vrai coup de coeur pour moi. Merci Marcel! (:

Avec mes 2 filles nous avons beaucoup apprécié la cabane et la cuisine en commun . Le cadre est vraiment apaisant. Tout était conforme à l annonce . Très bonne communication et accueil avec Marcel . Je recommande cette jolie cabane dans ce joli cadre.

Mooi houten huisje, waarbij je het gevoel hebt in de jungle te verblijven. We hebben er erg van genoten, en ook heerlijk veel kleur! Fijn ook dat je het kan verwarmen met elektrische verwarming, daardoor wordt het niet vochtig binnen. Ook niet als veel regent. Aan alles was gedacht.
