This Guest Unit is separated and independent from main house in the back with a private entrance to the unit through the deck area for your privacy. It is a quiet residential area with total privacy. Comfortable and close by to plenty of attractions nearby, about a 15-20 min walk distance to Huntington Art Gallery, Caltech, Pasadena City College, Coffee bars, Grocery Stores and Restaurants within the area on the East side of Old Town Pasadena. I will reach out to you prior to your stay to provide you with check in instructions. A combination will be sent out to you a few days prior to your arrival to the key box to access the Unit. Originally a speakeasy in the 1930’s, we’ve maintained its character while at the same time converting the bar area into a convenient kitchenette and adding a new modern bathroom. The yard is very lush with native oaks and flowers and there is a designated area for guests. We are located 2 blocks from the main boulevard which has many shops and restaurants. Just leave the car and walk to dinner.

The house is in a quiet neighborhood, close to JPL, the Art Center College of Design, the Rose Bowl, Norton Simon Museum and Pasadena Old Town. Several hiking trails are a short walk from the apartment. Three minutes walk gets you to a stop on the 267 bus route providing access to most locations in the Pasadena area and the LA county Metro system with connections to Union Station (Amtrak) in downtown LA and LAX via Flyaway bus.
