The property and cottage are amazing. Absolutely beautiful, warm, inviting, and filled with so much charecter. Can't recomnd this place enough.

Our stay was great. I planned this trip for my fiancés birthday and she loved every minute of it . This place was exactly how I pictured it . My fiance was literally jumping for joy we plan on making this a yearly thing ! We arrived to to nice music and good smells and a birthday gift. Everything was great. We appreciate all the hard work that you all put into this place. This is something truly to treasure.

I can’t stop saying how amazing and wonderful our stay was here. This place is AMAZING. It was perfect and then some for what we wanted. There was SO MUCH SPACE. We could all hangout together very comfortably which was amazing for a big group. Right on the water with a beautiful yard for yard games. Everything was just absolutely amazing. Brent was extremely kind and communicative! I literally cannot wait to come back and stay here again!!

This place was awesome. A group of 10 of us stayed and had a great time hanging out in the very private location. The log cabin was very cool. The hot tub was massive was able to fit everyone comfortably. Unfortunately it was negative 6 degrees the entire time we were there so we couldn't use the fire pit outside but it was perfect for hot tubing, hanging out inside and playing games. There was a couple of cool towny bars closeish that we stop at on the way up but once there didn't feel the need to leave. We went hiking down the frozen river for 2 of the days and it was very cool. The way down to the river is a little steep so highly recommend good boots. We went slow but everyone felt comfortable getting down there. The other recommendation is to plan ahead with meals cause it about a 20 min drive to the nearest grocery store. We made all of the our meals there and the kitchen had everything we needed for utensils and kitchen stuff. The 3 full bathrooms was clutch. The group said mult

This cabin was an outstanding group get away for my birthday! In our 4 day stay we never ran out of things to do as the amenities were great! The furnishings were clean and comfortable. Any questions we had our Host was quick to respond and extremely helpful. We are already planning our return!

If you are looking for a place for lots of people and lots of outdoor space, in typical Minnesota style, this is it. Couldn’t have asked for a better outfitted kitchen. The beds, pillows and linens were comfy. Opportunities for privacy in the extra cabins. Old school charm of a vintage resort. Hosts were absolutely so responsive and helpful with everything.

Great experience and location for a getaway! Hosts were very accommodating with an earlier check in and later check out time. Very proactive with snow removal (it snowed overnight and driveway was plowed and area around our cars was shoveled before we even woke up.) Gorgeous cabin with great amenities. Massage chair was such a hit with our group, as was the hot tub and provided hammocks. Highly recommend!

The cabin was amazing. I went with my 3 kids and we roasted marshmallows by the fire and ate s’mores. We got to see some bats flying over head right as the sun was setting which was super cool. The paths that lead away from the house take you to the creek that looks like something out of a fairytale. While we were exploring a young deer came up to us with its tail wagging which made it all the more magical. The beds were really comfortable. The quilts were SO soft. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

This was our second stay at Michael's place. Just as before, we found it very accommodating, clean, and in a great location. Very quiet and peaceful with lots of beautiful trees around. It has been challenging to find quality accommodations when we visit Wadena so we have really appreciated this cozy cabin!

We had an amazing getaway. This location was perfect for the two of us and our dogs! We can’t wait to book in the summer and fall to see the foliage on the property. After day trips to 2 state parks with our dogs, our favorite amenity was coming home and building a cozy fire in the wood stove. 10 out of 10 experience!

Beautiful getaway in north central MN. The fall colors over the lake were breathtaking and the cabin was the perfect retreat for a group of friends. Spent nights around the bonfire swapping stories. Would definitely recommend. Ev was so responsive and very pleasant to communicate with, too.

Wow, what a great place to stay in Alexandria!! It was super easy to book. My family enjoyed our stay for 3 nights. We loved the full stocked kitchen, clean home, toasty garage (heated ❤️), The Hut, comfortable stay, and the beautiful scenery. It was an mazing location on Lake Coudry. My grandmother lives on Lake Taylor and I believe I could see a glimpse of her property from yours. We will definitely be back! Thanks for having us 🌻

Lobster Lake Lodge EXCEEDED our expectations! We had a fantastic weekend with our extended family- from toddler to great-grandparents. The decks added on are such an easy way to enjoy the lake view. We played games, had a campfire, watched a football game, went out on the paddle boat, walked in the road to enjoy the fall colors- a wonderful extended weekend- and you made it easy. Thank you! ❤️ We hope to be able to come back!

The cabin had lots of thoughtful details and more than everything we needed. There were a good range of bed options for us to choose our preferred mattress firmnesses. We appreciated the homey feel, all the nice light, and the lovely outdoor spaces to hang out. The lake seemed particularly clean and good for swimming. It was a truly relaxing place for a little fall retreat, and the hosts were flexible and generous. I hope we can stay again some day!

The Barrett cabin is a great place to stay!

Our stay was for a weekend over MEA. It was just what we needed to get away from the normal busy jobs and school. My girls loved the screened in porch where we could take in the fall air yet be warm and “no bugs!” per my 7 year old. Everyone loved the sauna too. It’s a very nice place and it was very clean. We’d definitely stay here again. Thanks again!

We had a great weekend away and really appreciated the ramp accessibility for my dad, who uses a 4 wheel walker. Great hospitality and beautiful lake!

We took a long weekend for family and Karin was so responsive up to our checking in, she was an absolute delight to work with! The home was clean, neat, tidy, and just what we needed for the entire weekend getaway There was nothing we needed with a party of 6-She has literally thought of everything you could need for a delightful stay!! Karin was extremely flexible and communicated right away! We can’t wait to come back!!! 5/5… would highly recommend!!

We had an issue with the heat and Mark came right over to take care of it. We certainly enjoyed our stay, it was very relaxing.

I could not have wished for a better place for my first visit to Minnesota. Immediately upon arriving, the cabin felt so welcoming. Luxurious but in a super comfortable way. I also loved the well equipped kitchen for cooking on nights in. The view of the lake was just so stunning.

Nice quiet place with a great view of the lake. Perfect for a family getaway.
