Bertha and Kamal hooked me up with a local guide who helped me throughout the week. The house was nicely appointed, very clean and everything worked. Linens were of good quality. AC was good. Kitchen well equipped. The location is fantastic if you like the lush tropical rainforest vibe with lots of wildlife. Saw sloths, monkeys, Toucans a variety of birds and even an armadillo.. Proximity to Tenorio and Miravalles National Parks is excellent. Bijagua is a nice town and you get a feel for the real Costa Rica. I plan to return.

Karla and her place was a gem and an amazing find outside of La Fortuna. We did not want to stay right in the main town and definitely not at the resorts. This was the perfect blend of local vibes, nature, and amenities. The backyard is beautifully landscaped and very relaxing to come home to after full adventure days. The photos do not capture how gorgeous the scenery is. If Karla's place is available then you should definitely book it - pura vida!

Wir waren zu viert für vier Nächte in der Unterkunft und waren mit der Ausstattung sehr zufrieden. Es ist allerdings sehr hellhörig und die Toilettenspülung war sehr laut.

Great stay with friends, we stayed just one night and it was about 10 minutes from the airport.

Casa Peces is well maintained and comfortable. The home is spacious and the neighborhood was peaceful. The pool was perfect. It was very easy to communicate with both Martha and Jessica. I would absolutely stay at Casa Peces again on a future trip!

This place definitely looks better than the photos. Everything about it was beautiful. My family and I loved this place. It was clean, and spacious. I couldn’t decide to stay inside or in the backyard because it was not comforting and peaceful to be in either/or. The only thing was wifi was slow but it didn’t affect our stay that much because we were out and about majority of our stay. It was just when we needed to search for places to go or things to stay or food to eat. It's not super slow though. I would recommend this place!

Los anfitriones nos dejaron canasta con café, cervezas, comestibles, etc. Realmente destaco su atención. La casa muy cómoda. Al fondo tiene una cabaña de 1 cama grande con baño privado. El jacuzzi le aporta un plus. Muy completa su cocina. Excelente atención de sus anfitriones.

We stayed the night here, as we only needed a place to sleep. The bed was comfortable. The shower was warm. We felt safe and secure. We would stay here again if needed.

Cute, small place. It is true that you have a daycare right next to it, but I use it basically for sleeping and making breakfast and it was perfect for this.

Lugar muy bonito, tranquilo con todo lo necesario para cocinar. La ubicación es excelente, totalmente recomendado.

Jason was a great host. Extremely helpful, included a lot of detailed information. The apartment is huge. Very cool place. The pictures are great and it's even better. It's private but walkable to almost everything. One of the nicest places I've stayed. Definitely stay here.

Wir sind erst am späten Abend gelandet und konnten ganz einfach in der Wohnung einchecken. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt direkt am Flughafen super geeignet.

This airbnb was very comfortable, beds were great. No need for A/C as the temperatures were nice and cool in evenings. You could sleep with windows open as there were screens. It was not near the center of town but there is a bus. We walked to the center of town but if you have mobility issues, the bus would be better. It was peaceful and quiet.

We had a great stay! The place was super clean and just like the pictures—no surprises. It was a short and easy drive into town, making it a convenient spot for exploring the area. Would definitely stay here again!

It was such a lovely stay. It was large and the bed was so comfortable. I’d always come here when flying in or out of SJO.

My partner and I spent a week at Ulik and Andrea's place, and, it was fantastic! The location was excellent being minutes from the airport, and minutes away from City Mall with tons of local amenities. The unit was clean, we felt extremely safe on the property and the front gate security guard was also extremely helpful. Highly recommended!

Jason’s place was well appointed and the complex was nice. Pool and facilities also nice. We were off the street enough that it was also very quiet. Easy access to groceries and restaurants. We never felt like we needed a car and Uber and DiDi is very easy and cheap from the apartments. Thanks Jason.

Great Place to stay. Will book again whenever I visit Alajuela again.

Eine sehr schöne, geschmackvoll eingerichtete, Wohnung in der wir uns die letzten acht Monate richtig wohlgefühlt haben. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt, es fehlt nichts. Waschmaschine, Trockner, zwei Bäder und stabiles Internet waren uns sehr wichtig. Ein Balkon bietet Sonne am Morgen, der andere bietet Mittagssonne und einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang. Eine wunderbare Aussicht in guter zentrumsnaher Lage, sehr ruhig und mit netten Nachbarn runden das Ganze ab. Empfehlenswert auch für längere Aufenthalte. Vielen Dank, David!

Wir hatten alles was wir brauchten und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Der Ort ist sehr ruhig - abgelegen von der Hauptstraße. Etwas Stauraum wäre schön gewesen aber war nicht störend. Genug Ausstattung zum Kochen war auch gegeben auch wenn einige Sachen schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen sind. Alles in allem kann man sich aber wirklich nicht beschweren - das ist meckern auf hohem Niveau.

William was an amazing host! He was very flexible with the dates, which really helped me out a lot. Throughout my stay in Alajuela, he was always available and willing to assist with anything I needed. The place was clean, comfortable, and just as described. I truly appreciated his hospitality and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
