Disfrutamos mucho el departamento fremte a la playa. La alberca, el depa, todo en buenas condiciones y limpio y amplio. Sin duda lo escogeriamos de nuevo.

AC is not always available. I believe its only in Summertime and preferably only at night. (It should say this on the description, but it doesn’t). We knew going in, so it wasn’t as big a deal for us. Power is an issue throughout Chelem. Electric Company charges high rates if usage is over a certain level. You can sometimes negotiate paying more to use the AC but not leaving it on all the time. You have to turn off when You leave. They ask You to conserve energy where You can. The last night we stayed, there was a band playing in the street up front. It was really loud so sleeping was tough. Obviously this isn’t their fault!! You would have had this issue staying anywhere within a half mile of the event 😞 The hosts are Wonderful people! The restaurant below is a great place to eat and/or drink in Chelem! If You are OK with these couple inconveniences, I highly recommend staying with Jill and Martin.

Me gustó el lugar, muy tranquilo y cuidado, la zona muy segura, toallas y sabanas muy limpias, todo muy aseado. Gracias por prestarnos su casa, aunque no estuvimos mucho ahí, ibamos a una boda y en arreglos se pasó el tiempo.

Brilliant apartment with peaceful views.

Sonya’s place was exactly what we needed for a restful week. Hearing the waves day and night made relaxing easy! The studio is so comfortable and sitting on the porch was the perfect way to end each day. Sonya is absolutely lovely. She arranged for airport transfers and gave a ton of recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The town of Chuburná is walkable and friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in El Cuyo. Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt, nah am Meer und an tollen Cafés und Restaurants.

Todo estuvo excelente. Ya sabía que las habitaciones no tenían vista al mar entonces no fue una sorpresa. Todo súper limpio. Había todo lo necesario en la cocina y baño. Lo rentamos por ir a descansar y tener paz y tranquilidad, ya que no se permiten niños. Sin embargo, cuando llegamos había una pareja en el área común con música muy fuerte, pero eso no es culpa del alojamiento ni del anfitrión, sino de que los huéspedes no siempre siguen las reglas. Lo único que pondría para que mejoren es que pongan camastros en la arena, ya que uno va a gozar de la naturaleza, el mar, el aire fresco, y el sol, y adentro no se puede. Y que se reserven el derecho de admisión, en caso de ser chavos que busquen ir de pachanga. Sin embargo, todo está como se muestra en el anuncio. Gracias por sus atenciones María José!

Came for a girls trip and we had the best time. The house is nice and the ac in the rooms work well. We spent the entire trip by the pool and on the beach. The cabana is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee while soaking in the beach. We had someone cook for us while we were there and just ran to the store for snacks and anything we needed. Maria was easy to communicate with and assisted us with any request we had. This was the perfect beach getaway. I would definitely go back!

Charito estuvo al pendiente en todo momento. La casa muy cómoda y llena de detalles y amenities. Alberca propia y albercas compartidas en el fraccionamiento; muy lindo todo! La casa súper acogedora y con todo lo necesario para una estancia en familia.

¡Excelente estancia! La casa es muy amplia y perfecta para grupos grandes como el nuestro. La ubicación es ideal, disfrutamos mucho de la cercanía a la playa. Pasamos un Año Nuevo increíble con amigos y familia. ¡Muy recomendable!

The house and location were excellent! Beachfront house with beautiful views! The hosts were responsive. The only hiccup was that the pool wasn't super clean when we got there - my husband and daughter had to do some cleaning up.

Juan was amazing, always very helpful and accommodated us much more than he had to. The house was ready early, so he let us check-in in the morning. We didn’t fly til 8 so he let us stay until 4 instead of being in limbo..Keys in the lockbox, and house was amazing! Open the double patio doors and there is the pool and the beach.. pelicans diving, fish jumping, fishermen netting.. nice long beach to walk to the right. OXXO and Seven around the corner. 20 pesos to town for fruit markets, groceries, restaurants and liquor. We enjoyed our stay very much. The washer quit one day and Juan came to pick it up, am had it fixed and returned in a couple of days. Always quick response and very helpful.. would stay again for sure!

Perfect beach location. Amazing view, easy to find and fenced in parking. Rooms were spacious, large bathrooms.

El departamento súper cómodo para una estancia agradable con todo lo necesario, la ubicación es perfecta y cerca de la zona centro, sin duda volveré a regresar

¡Un lugar muy agradable! El internet del departamento fue un poco inestable para mis necesidades, ya que trabajo en línea, pero en las áreas comunes se puede compensar esto. Recomiendo ampliamente la estancia.

Muy buenito departamento las fotos coinciden con lo real , nos sentimos muy agusto la anfitriona siempre al pendiente muy buena comunicación incluso flexible con el horario de salida ya q se lo permitía la ocupación siempre los condominios están muy bien ubicados y un plus esq al ser palabra baja teníamos acceso muy rápido nos encantó sin . Duda regresaremos

This place was wonderful, and I look forward to staying again in the near future! It had everything that we needed, and our host was extremely proactive about anything we had questions about in the area, as well as information related to checking in and checking out, so we could make the most of our stay. She was also able to take care of a few rowdy neighbors who were partying too loud, and that was very nice to experience because not all hosts do that.

Mariterre is an excellent host. She is very responsive and was very generous with her time and attention. She made many suggestions and even showed us around the boardwalk and nearby wetlands. We could not ask for a better greeting from her and her son. The place itself was very comfortable, fully equipped, and well maintained with excellent AC. Every little detail was considered from wall magnet's that hold the doors in place on windy days to full window blinds that are easy to use etc...

I want to start by thanking Roxana, as she was very responsive to any questions, inquiries or issues. While we never met in person, she was always available. Gracias! On the second day I arrived, the water and electricity were off (heavy rain), but the maintenance team (as well as Roxana) were on top of it and fixed it fairly quickly! The apartment itself is very pleasant, and the pool is a nice bonus and very close to the beach...you may need to walk a little to get to a nice beach space, but it is nice and private in the area - it feels peaceful. Walking distance, you have a pub with many expats, but can walk 40 minutes (or a short Uber drive) to go into Progreso center to have more options (restaurants, beaches, mixed crowds, entertainment, shopping...). Overall, it was a very nice stay, and perfect for a couple wanting to retreat and relax with no agenda. Muchas gracias Roxana!
