Enjoy the wonderful wildlife which include bald eagles, osprey, beavers, ducks and many more. If you’re hungry, you can order delicious pizza from a real Sicilian in town or fine dine at the Accomac Inn which is just a 5 minute walk down river. Perfect road for a walk, run, or bike ride. New Cumberland is in walking distance. Harrisburg City, the Capitol, is a 5-minute drive. We are currently doing light remodeling (painting, flooring, redecorating) but nothing that interferes with the functions of the house. The place might not be perfect, but it will be the perfect place to stay while you're in town

All this and only a 7 minute drive from downtown Lancaster whilst still feeling like you’re in the countryside.

Enjoy the coziness of the BirdHouse. Our kitchen has the necessities to cook. We provide olive oil, spices, salt and pepper, farm fresh eggs, coffee filters, and trash bags. For the bathroom we provide starter shampoo and conditioner, toilet paper, and of course the towels. Linens provided also. Enjoy the courtyard area with its gas fireplace and seating area. Cook on the gas grill and enjoy a meal at the bistro table. Please come and relax!
