Discover the History of Coyoacán with us! We will walk and talk around the core of this amazing neighborhood and get to know the history and traditions of many of the most famous places such as the San Juan Bautista Church, the neighborhood market, and the Coyotes Plaza. Still, we'll also visit less touristy places like local book shops and picturesque streets. There's a lot to see here, don't be fooled, not everything is about Frida Kahlo! During the tour, we'll talk about artists, migration, the war of conquest, religion, handicrafts, symbols, and how the city swallowed the cobbled-stoned village of Coyoacán. We'll discuss architecture, piñatas, colonial life, and even the USSR! All of these have had a huge influence on making Coyoacán one of the loveliest and most quintessential neighborhoods in this huge city. We'll start the tour next to one of our favorite coffee shops, in case you want to get your energy up before we begin. In Coyoacán, churros are a must, so we'll get you one on us! We love to chat, tell fun facts, and answer questions, so ask us anything!
