TAN HOWE DYKE is situated between Keswick and Cockermouth, close to Bassenthwaite Lake. A refurbished cottage dating back to Victorian times within a small group of rural properties, opposite picturesque St. Barnabas Church Setmurthy; enjoying beautiful Lakeland views towards the Skiddaw Massif & Binsey. The property is just a short walk from the Lakes Distillery which boasts a tour and Bistro. Fishing, available at nearby Bassenthwaite Lake. TAN HOWE DYKE features landscaped garden and patio.

Isabel's Cottage in quiet village near Cockermouth

Isabel’s Cottage is owned by Lisa & Ivan. We live just next door. Located on the edge of the Lake District, tucked away in the old part of Great Broughton, on a quiet lane just off the Main Street with lovely walks along the River Derwent right from the doorstep & views over the river & western fells. Cockermouth & Keswick are a short drive away along with the seaside towns of Maryport & Whitehaven & the beaches at Allonby & St Bees. Easy access to the Lakes & the Western Wainwright Fells.

No.1 Park Hill Mews is a self-contained, dog friendly home nestled in the historic maritime town of Maryport, on the doorstep of the breath-taking Lake District National Park. The mews is one of 3 holiday houses in a terrace, located up a private driveway. Newly renovated for 2022. The accommodation is ideal for families, as well as walkers, bikers and cyclists. With easy transport links to the Lakes, the coast and beyond. The mews is wheelchair accessible with ramps and widened doorways.

Wake up to a great view.

Enjoy wonderful views of the Ennerdale fells, extending to Pillar and Steeple. The spacious, comfortable accommodation forms the main section of a larger semi-detached property. You will have the house to yourselves - we will be far away, but contactable should you have any questions or issues. It's self check-in and check-out. There are many good and varied walks nearby, as well as scenic drives and gastro pubs. You will need to bring groceries with you - breakfast is not supplied.

A modern home in the Lakes

A modern and spacious semi-detached house in the popular Lake District town of Cockermouth. The house is situated in a quiet neighbourhood with easy access to the North Western, Northern and Western Fells. Two Wainwrights are walkable from the door, and the Buttermere valley is a picturesque 20-minute drive away. Local amenities are also easily accessed via a riverside walk, and the town offers a wide range of pubs and restaurants with local ales and excellent dining.

Luxury cosy cottage near Cockermouth

A lovely cottage on the edge of the Lake District sleeping up to four. Original features with oak beams, deep bath, comfy beds, wood burning stove. Two bedrooms, king size and twin/super king, the twin beds can be 'zip and linked' together to form super king. Quiet village location with pub. Beautiful lakes and mountains nearby for walks and adventures. Cockermouth market town is 4 miles away, with supermarkets, good independent shops, restaurants and cafes.

Located in the Lake District National Park on the coast to coast cycle route, Wythop School sits on the side of Ling Fell with views towards Bassenthwaite Lake. The old village school has been renovated to provide comfortable accommodation for up to 10 guests. The village has a pub and hotel offering good food and real ale. All other amenities (supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants, museums etc) can be found in Cockermouth, a 4 mile drive away.
