The Pavilion is a modern, purpose built holiday house in the quiet Somerset village of Yarlington. It has all the conveniences: Wood burning stove, underfloor heating, Washer & tumble dryer, Iron & ironing board, fast fibre optic broadband and a charging station for an electric or plug in hybrid car, but sadly the mobile phone signal is very poor. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.

My place is good for couples and small families (with kids) and dogs. It has a king size bed and single bed in a large room so is also great for those looking for a twin room. Cosy up for a winter break in a beautifully converted old army truck with stunning views of Lyme Bay. In the winter months you have the whole field to yourselves, so it’s perfect for a romantic getaway. There are beautiful walks in the woods up behind my holding and a lovely riverside walk to the beach, which is perfect now the holiday crowds have gone. The truck is well insulated and has a wood burning stove.

Wyld cabin.

With this cabin, you can expect a home from home feel. The cabin is located on a working farm, so you can expect farm vehicles driving in and out, we also have cows on the farm, they can be noisy from time to time (but mostly when its time to be fed.) The Wyld cabin is located centrally to Charmouth, Axminster and Lyme Regis. Brilliant for a base to enjoy scenic walks and explore the Jurassic coast.
