Very quiet and peaceful. Convenient location for anyone with activities at the University. Price was very reasonable, especially given the accommodations. Stayed two nights, but suitable for longer stay as well.

I had an enjoyable stay at Dan and Donna's Air BnB. The listing/pictures represented the actual accommodation very well. Dan and Donna were very communicative and proactive in making sure I had a comfortable stay. If traveling to the Fredericksburg area as a single person or couple, this space is ideal.

It is spacious apartment for my wife and me to stay in for the weekend with lots of nice amenities. Easy walk to the downtown area, massive bed, great selection of simple entertainment (books and TV streaming apps). The Berkey water filter was a nice touch too.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Heidi’s place! From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless. The check-in process was smooth, and the home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—close to UVA, yet in a peaceful and quiet area. The amenities provided were thoughtful and made my stay extra comfortable, including a comfy bed, fully stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, etc. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great Airbnb experience. One of the best hosts I’ve dealt with. She is quick with responding with any questions you may have and gives you plenty of recommendations around the area. She asks you how the stay is throughout the dates you are there. Overall a great host and the property is beautiful.

Our stay was nothing short of amazing. Very responsive and friendly hosts who answered all of our questions promptly. The Airbnb itself was probably the nicest we had ever stayed at. The surrounding grounds were beautiful and filled with wildlife that our young son enjoyed looking at. We have only good things to say about our stay. We would stay again in a heartbeat and highly recommend!

This was our first experience staying in Charles Town and this peaceful little spot was the perfect location for everything we needed. A great spot for two people for a long weekend, we would definitely come back! Butch is probably the kindest host I've had contact with during my travels.

My daughter and I stayed at Cathy's place while visiting UVA. It was even more lovely than the photos. We had plenty of space and were so comfortable. The bed was heavenly and my daughter slept well on the sofa bed. The apartment had everything we needed and was immaculately clean. We both had work to do during our visit and we each had a separate workspace. It was convenient to UVA, restaurants, and shopping. It was so peaceful and quiet... I wish we could have stayed longer.

Above average place with nice linens and great coffee supplies. Walkable to town, very nice neighborhood. Well decorated.

Lovettsville is a great area and the location works very well to bounce around between NOVA and Frederick with easy access to Shepherdstown, WV. There is an Anytime Fitness just minutes away as well as a nice coffee shop right down the street. This stay is setup with everything you need from cooking to doing laundry. The hosts were also very helpful!

Second time staying here, lovely unit with nice upgrades. Judae is very responsive and helpful.

Although we only got to enjoy one evening at Kam’s peaceful cottage, it was well worth the drive. It was so peaceful with the window’s open listening to the birds while we cooked in the kitchen. We hope to come back to enjoy some hiking in the area.

A friend & I stayed to cycle & hike Harper's Ferry & the Shepardstown area of the C&O. The placed checked all our important boxes..very clean, nice shower with hot water, very comfortable beds & furniture, very quiet, strong wifi. Download Google maps directions to get there as you might loose your cell connection. Same if you travel the area..download while on wifi at the house. When I saw the vintage GE electric stove with push button controls I though...wow will this thing work! Yes it works great! It heated up my hot water for tea & oatmeal faster than any modern stove! We had a great stay and will definitely stay again.

The sunsets were absolutely breathtaking, and waking up to the sight of horses each morning was a magical bonus. Perfect for a quick getaway for my friends and I! The best part was being super close to the ski slopes/snow tubing and the late check out. We originally planned on just one day of skiing and snowboarding, but got to get in a couple extra hours with the late check out and close proximity. Thanks Carissa!
