The Doctors Study - Iron Amethyst Inn

Enter the Doctor’s Study through a re-created turn-of-the-century study – medical journals and top hat neatly hung up, a crank wall phone and calendar look as if the doctor just returned from a house call. Step under the arch and into the bedroom with queen-size brass bed with cast cherubs, past the remote-controlled fireplace, and into your cozy private bath. This bath has the best of both worlds with it’s large two-person shower featuring separate controls, body sprays, and the hand-made English tile version of “A Coign of Vantage” by Lawrence Alma-Tadema make this the ultimate showering experience! Step around the corner to enjoy the large double whirlpool bath, Doc Kester’s remedy to all that ails you. Located on the first floor.

Braywood Inn - Casa Suite (2 Bedroom)

Our largest suite is on the 2nd floor, sleeps 6 and is perfect for families/friends traveling together. The Master has a king size four poster bed. The living room has a work station, sofa with chaise, and a flat screen television with a DVD player. The second bedroom offers two full size beds. A flat screen television, iPod alarm clock, robes, and closet space are also amenities. The bathroom, which offers your own laundry facilities, has a bathtub, tiled steam like shower and double vanity.

American House 1854- Stagecoach Stop Suite

Take in the beauty of the Mississippi River at this unique and tranquil getaway. The American House Inn is the oldest standing building in McGregor, IA. Built in 1854, this building is on the National Registry of Historic Places and takes you back to the late 1800s but with modern amenities. Located just across the street from Big Bouys Marina, Kwik Star and a block from the Sadie’s Sweet Ice Cream shop!
