It has a well-equipped kitchen, large living room, spacious bathroom and comfortable beds, and is wonderfully peaceful after a day’s sightseeing in nearby Bath. It is within easy walking distance of the traditional country pub, ideal for a drink or a meal, and only a six minute walk to the train station (ten minutes to Bath), or the weekday bus to Bath.

Pigsty Cottage is a very spacious apartment within the grounds of a listed Georgian farmhouse, its a lovely private place to stay. Well equipped, with a top quality kingsize bed and secure parking. Comfortable and quiet, the main space is complemented by a tasteful kitchen/diner and a modern bathroom with shower.

Skittles - stylish charm in a village near Bath

One of two apartments in the heart of Box, a popular village only 15 mins bus or drive from Bath. In a previous life, the building was a skittle alley for The Lamb Inn but that rang time in the 1960s and is now our home. The units are a mix of country and modern, with oak beams and doors and atmospheric lighting. A stylish, light and comfy space with a homely feel, attention to detail and a little touch of luxury. Tea, coffee, milk and cookies are provided.

The property is on a quiet country lane in Ditteridge but only a ten minute walk from the village of Box, close to the market town of Corsham, the National Trust village of Lacock and just 6 miles from Bath.
