A great host like this one makes a hug difference. The unit was perfect, very cute and cozy in a quiet neighborhood with available parking, an amazing view of the ocean and pool/hot tub. You can even see the street a little from the balcony. The beach was steps away... just an amazing stay. I cannot wait to revisit.

Very convenient and great view and location. Access from street to parking to elevator to apartment was super easy and convenient. Two separate bedrooms with their own bathroom is a plus. Thank you Veronica

CT visitors, heading down south for April break. We have four people in our family so it was my husband my 2 sons (8 & 3) and myself. The condo was absolutely perfect and plenty of room for our family of four. Everything was clean and up-to-date. The view from the balcony was amazing. We really enjoyed the ability to be able to walk to the pools walk to the beach come back up for lunch and anything else that we needed. This condo is also a mile from the Walmart superstore and the Tanger outlets. Very close to Barefoot Landing. A lot to do around the area. We would definitely consider rebooking again.

I have been staying at Ocean Creek Resort for over 20 years and this unit was great! Not a far walk to the ocean, very pretty surroundings, mattress was comfortable, and very clean. i would defiantly stay again!

Patrycja was one of the nicest & most responsive hosts I’ve ever dealt with. She was kind and courteous and understanding of our very last minute booking (we booked just two hours prior to arrival for a last minute beach getaway). She also let us stay a few hours late so I could work remotely. As far as the airbnb itself, I would say it is a diamond in the rough for this particular property which is a bit run down and older. We enjoyed the amenities like the pool and the beach was just steps away. The hot tub was enormous- fitting about 10 people! Plenty of towels and beach chairs were very convenient. The TVs were huge! We had everything needed to cook onsite. Overall, it was a great stay for the price we paid, but it’s not the fanciest place. If your expectations are reasonable and you aren’t expecting a 5 star resort experience, you will love this place and it will be a perfect beach vacation!

everything was fantastic. the place was ready earlier than expected, it was clean and ready to go. I have been going to Myrtle Beach for 7 years and while we have had some nice places this surpassed then all. Highly recommend! A++++++

The place was as described- quiet neighborhood and very safe feeling. The garage is best for small cars but there is parking beside it. We enjoyed the proximity to all the things we came for- cheer competition at the convention center, Broadway at the Beach. We would definitely stay there again

My husband and I and our dog had a great stay at Susan’s place! Everything felt very clean, comfortable, and private! The best part of this place is the location to the beach and the beautiful live oak trees surrounding the place! The place is also very close to Southport, so we were able to shop a little and see some of the filming locations of Safe Haven during our visit. Susan was also very responsive whenever we had any questions! I would recommend staying here!

Great location, and a great time. Backyard with pool is perfect with plenty of room for activities and entertaining. You can walk to the beach and restaurants within minutes.

We loved our week at Blue Turtle Cottage! It’s bright, clean and charming. Just a short walk to the beach. Leslie and Kay were lovely hosts. We’d definitely come back if our plans bring us to OKI. The king bed is super comfy!. Thanks for hosting us! 💙🐢

We stayed 2 nights. We arrived early and Katherine allowed us to check in early. Parking is available in front, but the street was very busy and Katherine made accommodations to park off street. Katherine made us aware of a parade the next day on the night before we left, which prompted us to leave earlier and miss the traffic. EXCELLENT host!

Very clean. Great for kids and family time. Lots of amenities but very close neighbors. Although they were to themselves and hardly seen or heard them.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Marooned Five as a family of five and we all love it! Our 2 younger kids love the loft and my older kid loves the second bedroom to himself. It’s not easy finding room for everyone when we travel but we don’t have to worry about it when we stay at David and Kris’ place. The two golf carts give us flexibility to split up and we also love riding bikes on the island. Marooned Five comes with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. We have stayed here during the off season and prefer it but will also be back during the summer season. Some of our favorites to do here: climb Old Baldy, eat at Jules and Jailhouse, beach days, have a date sans kids at Bald Head Bottle, visit Turtle Central and complete their scavenger hunt around the island. We went to Sunday service at the Chapel and had breakfast afterwards at The Boathouse. We shopped at the Maritime shops and scheduled a guided kayak tour (that was canceled due to rain). But we’ll be back!

We enjoyed the unit because it was so close to the beach, pool and just a 3 minute walk to the local coffee shop! It was very clean and exactly what we wanted for a beach rental. We loved the balcony view! Perfect rental in OIB!

Anja’s place felt like home, from the time we arrived to the time we left it truly felt like home. The place was well prepared and we did not want for nothing. The surrounding area was so peaceful and beautiful. The condo was very clean and updated. This is definitely going to be our go to spot when we are in the area again.
