The Tiny (off grid) House on Wai Māhanga Farm

Your Air Conditioned accoms are a small Off Grid Tiny Home. It is situated in Taumārere just out of Kawakawa on SH11 on the way to Paihia on our working Regenerative Farm. Specifically built for couples to enjoy the privacy and beautiful farm views over green paddocks to the Cycleway and Vintage Railway. The Annex - self contained unit .

The Annex is on a small farmlet, 6 km south of Whangarei, with harbour views. It was a sleepout, built in the 1980's, separate, but next to the main house. It has two bedrooms. There is a double bed and two singles plus a day bed in the living area. The living/ dining area, has a wood fire. There is a small shower room and separate toilet. It is situated about 100 mtr off SH1, so there can be road noise. There are no streetlights and it can be very dark if you arrive after sundown.

You’ll love the cottage as it is quiet and has native bush between it and the water. The place is perfectly set up for couple, twin share or those with a new family (portacot available on request). Accessibility: Please note the cottage is situated down a flight of garden stairs.

Beachfront Apartment, Mangawhai Heads

Homely timber living area with balcony and fabulous sea views. Step out on to beautiful Picnic Bay. Ideal sheltered swimming area. 3 minutes walk to Surf beach. 4 minutes drive to shops, cafes, championship golf course. Tariff for 2 people is based on them just using the main bed and bathroom upstairs. If an extra bed/bathroom downstairs is required it would incur a separate $100 charge to cover extra laundry and cleaning costs.
