I would recommend this spot for family gatherings or smaller to medium sized groups. Perfect location for activities on the water. Has a very private feeling but are still very close to all the stores you need. Hosts are friendly, communicative, and they have an awesome book that goes over everything in the house.

Linda is such a great host. She was very quick to respond to questions before I booked and the one question I had after getting into the house. The house was extremely clean and well stocked. Tons of games scattered throughout including ping pong, putting, foosball, and a poker table. The fully fenced in yard was great for the dog. I highly recommend Linda and this house.

Felt right at home during our whole stay! Cute house in a lovely neighborhood with great gardens and nature trees. The blue Line is only a 15 minute walk from the house, very convenient. I would recommend Brian's place and would stay there again when visiting Charlotte.

Lisa was a very responsive host and we appreciate that the property is dog friendly! The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary items for our stay and the bathrooms were pristine. It's a new home, so everything is spotless and comfortable. The host lives on site, but we barely heard them while we were staying there.

Rebecca and Ben are the most caring hosts! This place is seriously moneys worth, and won’t surprise you with a beautiful view. I genuinely wish I could have stayed longer it felt like I was just at home. I rate everything a 5/5. Beautiful kitchen, beautiful rooms, etc. Definitely booking again soon!

Bridget is a great host. She responds quickly for all your needs. Home was very clean and well stocked with everything you need. Beds are clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back on my next trip!

A 5 star stay! Everything went so great, including arriving well after dark but the instructions were great and the motion lighting worked perfectly. The place is cute, clean and so comfortable. My wife especially raved about the linens, the towels and the washcloths - some of the fluffiest ever. Jodi is great, both with communication and setting up a unique space filled with her pottery. We only saw Jodi briefly, as we were very busy with family Easter activities. But she seems very friendly and helpful. We visit our grandkids in Charlotte often, and will definitely be back to stay with Jodi.

Loch Norm Lair is beautiful and relaxing. Great neighborhood. Just the peaceful week we needed. Rick and Judy are extremely friendly. Rick loves to share his boat and will take you for a ride. We sat and talked with them on several occasions and shared a dinner at a restaurant. The place is well cared for and a great deal, very reasonable pricing. It was a shame the sailboat wasn't working, would have loved a ride. We are already talking about a return trip in warmer weather to fully enjoy the water. Thank you so much for the beautiful week. Great stay at Sandra's place! Enjoyed the peaceful, safe neighborhood located about 10min from Main Street Fort Mill and 15-20min to Baxter Village. Place was well suited for myself, wife and our toddler. Though was snug and no bath, it was well equipped and functional. And overall a good value ! Lastly, hosts were kind and attentive. Our daughter loved seeing and feeding the chickens.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The view was spectacular, the area was peaceful, and it was close to lots of things to do. The apartment was stocked with everything I needed for the stay. I enjoyed the decor and I felt comfortable and right at home when relaxing in the space. The hosts were friendly and responsive. I would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect, comfortable and quiet. Quinsia was a great host!! We had forgotten about the rooftop access from the 8th floor until she reminded us; definitely a great place to see some fantastic views of the city! We would absolutely stay again!!

We were only there one night but it was just what we needed. Quiet and clean and very comfortable. Robbi was extremely nice and accommodating. She even had such nice touches for our dog from a bone to a bowls already set up with water. We will stay again when in town.

This stay was absolutely phenomenal . We loved the peaceful surroundings and the wetlands . I can say I had my first kayak experience in North Carolina. The place was updated and clean . The natural light in the home was delightful . We loved the privacy of the place and hope to stay here again . Brooke was responsive and accommodating . The surrounding town of Belmont is a hidden treasure . If staying check out honey comb cafe you won't be disappointed .

This place was an unexpected surprise as to how nice it was. It was perfect for four women going to Merlefest. It was 9 miles away from the festival which was not a big deal for driving back and forth. It was also a welcome get away from the crowds as it is on a mountain with a great view and is pretty remote but not remote enough to be a driving burden. It was exquistely clean. Darren was available within minutes for any questions. The deck was perfect for coffee drinking and visiting in the mornings before facing the crowds. All in all, a great place to stay. The only disadvantage is that the road is kind of rough going up and there are many ruts to avoid. I assume that the neighbors, etal , HOA or whomever will grade the road in the near future.. I know it is hard to maintain a gravel road as we have a lakehouse on a grave road... so I think it will probably be improved soon...

Stayed here with members of our bridal party! Deck and fire pit were a great touch, inside and outside of the house were so beautiful and kept up with super well. Construction was on the dock but Glenn communicated ahead of time to let us know!!! Beautiful space, and we had a wonderful time!!! Would stay here again.

Perfect place for a weekend getaway. The house was perfect and the view could not be beat. We had a wonderful time on the kayaks and would definitely book again!

My family and I lost our home and everything inside the day before we stayed here. I couldn't express what joy it was to feel safe and clean in such a nice place after the disaster. Thank you for the hospitality and generosity with the thoughtful snacks, coffee, water, and available alcoholic and non-alcoholic wines and ciders. We would absolutely stay here again, as it truly was the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in

Beautiful and relaxing little cabin by a pond. Great for excursions to hiking spots in the region. Joey was very helpful and responsive. Be aware that there is no stove/oven, but there is a microwave and gas grill. We really enjoyed using the grill, which is on a patio overlooking the pond!

An unbelievable treasure. I now know if I ever get to build my retirement home this is what it will be modeled after. We got to explore, play in the creek, my kids played outside the entire time and did not once ask for TV time. It was a very well decorated but also baby proofed house which I always appreciate. So many kitchen amenities and tons of towels for use and helpful things everywhere. The cozy gas fireplace made me most relaxed after the kids went to bed. We also felt incredibly safe. Never once crossed my mind to feel uncomfortable. Hands down we loved it and can't wait to come back. it's a total gem!!

Absolutely great little stay at this spot. Beautiful surroundings and plenty of space to walk around, and close to the wedding venue we came to town for. Elizabeth was very responsive and helpful. Great cozy little spot!
