NB .. the bedroom is in the eaves so limited head room & accessed by reasonably narrow staircase/shower room is downstairs (therefore not suitable to elderly or tall people due to the limited headroom / due to size of the bedroom it is only a double bed). Situated on the Cleveland Way this is a perfect spot for walking & within walking distance to the lovely harbour village of Staithes (25 mins)

The Smithy at Cross Pipes, Goathland

The Smithy is a self contained stone built cottage situated on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. It was built in the 1800’s and was originally one of two blacksmiths serving the community of Goathland. The Smithy offers you a comfortable base to visit the local area. Winnow Cottage is set in the idyllic North York Moors National Park. Dating back to the 1800s, the cottage has an open plan living and dining area with a kitchen and two en-suite double bedrooms. Patio doors lead out to a private decked area with views of the moors. The cottage is dog-friendly, 2 dogs welcome and accessed via a 1/4 mile rough single bridle track. There are many walking and cycling routes from the cottage and it is well-situated for exploring beautiful North Yorkshire.

There’s a Co-op store and a loose weigh shop Castleton lies close to the Esk valley railway to Whitby

Nestled in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors on our 100 acre Jacob Sheep Farm, close to the villages of Danby (3.9 miles) and (Castleton 3.7 miles) We are nothing like a hotel but instead offer quirky, comfortable, open plan, home from home accommodation in a tranquil setting. Arriving on foot, it is fully equipped with everything you might need. Close to Danby Castle wedding venue. We welcome all family pets and have plenty of fields for off lead exercise.

This self contained holiday cottage offers a chance to get closer to the workings of a family dairy farm. It is situated in the North York Moors National Park, midway between the moors and the coast and just a fifteen minute drive (or slightly longer bus ride) from Whitby. The accomodation is unusually spacious for a one bedroomed cottage, it is light, warm and very well insulated but don’t forget there is the potential for noise and smells from the farm!

Top Gallant and is down in the Bay. We have a great veranda with amazing views. WiFi and a Smart TV which includes Netflix. Bedding and towels provided. We provide a free parking pass for the (“Homeowners car park). 3 nights minimum booking. No Pets. The property is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems due to steps and a spiral staircase. Check in 3pm. Check out 11.00 am. I charge no cleaning fee but please leave tidy.
