The Back Forty Solar Cottage

Fernances Creek Farm is one hour north of Sydney in the picturesque Wollombi Valley. Ten minutes from Laguna with the Watagan Mountains and Yengo National Park on our doorstep. The Hunter Valley vineyards start here, with Broke & Pokolbin vineyards 45 minutes away. We are a Haflinger Horse stud on 210 acres, with show jumping and eventing facilities. Great for couples and families, the Back Forty Solar Cottage is a fully featured off grid solar home with all of the comforts and space to relax.

Stylishly appointed with luxury king bedding, large rain shower, outdoor bath, fire pit and modern comforts, Little Werona* is on our half acre property of edible and ornamental gardens with fresh eggs from our chickens (when available). Tranquil Island

Just over an hour's drive from Sydney, twenty minutes from historic Windsor, 7km to Wilberforce Shops and next to water ski-ing central: Sackville. We are on the Farm Gate Trail and very close to The Cooks Shed and cafe, Tractor 828. 20 minutes from Dargle and the Colo River. Basic on the outside, this comfy little flat has parking outside the front door and horses roaming in close. Tar access to driveway and undercover parking. Motor bikes welcome. Dogs welcome at an extra charge.

Fresh farm eggs, bacon, tomatoes and bread provided for a full breakfast. Along with coffee and teas and cereal. With lots of friendly farm animals.

Ironbark Cabin

Secluded Wood Cabin at the edge of the Blue Mountains National Park, close to Bells Line Road Tourist drive, fruit picking, Apple cider distillery, Gin tasting, Mount Tomah botanical Gardens, Walls Lookout ...... Firewood supplied through the season. Bookings of two nights or more include a pottery lesson if interested, let us know with your booking. Expect wildlife around. Bowen Mountain is a one road in/out community. Cottage is approximately 150m from the road.
