Our goal is rest and renewal for our guests so they return home ready to serve others and encouraged to spend regular time in prayer and God's Word. Relaxing is also a part of renewal so on-site activities and the surrounding communities offer plenty of recreation and tourism opportunities. Marmutt Woods is a place to step out of daily distractions to relax and refocus. Very private. This lake is great for kayaking, canoeing,and fishing. You can swim off the dock,but there are some lily pads. The water is clear,but the bottom of the lake is mucky at shore. Great for dogs. Kayaks, canoe, & paddle boat available at your own risk. In winter, best to have AWD vehicle.

The #5 Snowmobile/ATV trail runs across the front of the property along Hwy 51 and we are surrounded by many area lakes and the Northern Highland State Forest.

When you think Northern WI cabin stay, this is exactly what they should be. Small 700 square foot cabin sitting on the Moen Lake Chain just a few miles east of Rhinelander. Easy access via blacktop road that takes you right to the place. It offers 56 ft of water frontage. A small public boat landing right in front, makes it easy to get on and off the water. A new dock to tie it up for the evening on those summer stays, and drive out (at own risk) on the ice for those winter months.
