The place is as described in the photos, the view is fantastic, the terraces have a spectacular view of nature, the location very comfortable, the house very clean and all the utensils very practical

We came back to the Apgar House for the second year in a row and loved it just as much as the first visit! Two nights here during peak spring is so peaceful and healing - from sipping coffee on the front porch and hearing the creek to watching the sheep and cow on the property on the beautiful landscape - it’s truly an oasis! We love the historic charm and how well decorated the home is with its colonial architecture. Jeff is always super friendly when we see him on the property feeding the animals and makes us feel at home! The property is also close the great antique shops, local restaurants and great hiking trails. I couldn’t recommend it more!

The house was as advertised with plenty of space for our weekend men's retreat group of 7. We made use of the fire pit out back and the grill. Patricia was very helpful to provide us with several nearby hiking trail options. A good value for the money spent.

Theodore and Betty were perfect hosts. Very responsive with questions I had, and even allowed an earlier check in time. The home has a very spacious dining and living room with fireplace to accommodate my family in the evenings (two grown daughters and their husbands) for family dinners and hanging out watching late night movies . Outside entertaining was also fabulous with the hot tub, fire pit and outdoor furniture. I particularly enjoyed sitting by the river enjoying a cup of tea as the sun rose . We had fabulous walks on the Columbia trail through the gorge that is right behind their house. Absolutely stunning in the fall with the trees changing color. Weather was amazing but if it had rained I would have cuddled up reading a book by the fireplace . I plan to come back and rent bicycles from Marty’s cyclery in High Bridge and ride the trail. It was a perfect long weekend!

Magdalena’s property was beautiful! We went with our friends and our kids and had a blast! Spent a lot of time downstairs with all the games! House was so clean! Also any question I had, Magdalena responded almost instantly. We will be returning!

I’ve stayed at plenty of places by far this rental was the best of all! Most importantly Frank was extremely responsive. The pics don’t even compare to the inside of this place in person so spacious and beautiful my family loved every single moment !

Theresa was very accommodating. The view is fantastic and the house is very well provisioned. Close to stores and restaurants. Looking forward to revisiting in the near future! Did I mention the view was great!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Tom's place. Tom was very responsive. When we faced heating issues, he sent a technician the following day. It would be better to update the house rules and instructions by pointing out where the thermostat is upstairs. When we found that the place had no baking sheets, new baking sheets were delivered to the door the next day. Nevertheless, Tom is a great host and this place is great for my family.

Danielle was very responsive and made for a seemless stay. The apartment is great and thoughtfully outfitted for any needs. Loved the goats! Thanks Danielle!

Stephanie's place was very nice and really just as described in the photos. Stephanie was very responsive and offered great suggestions about places to eat and hiking. Really enjoyed it!
