The ancient sunken city of Pavlopetri, as well as the beautiful sandy beach of Pounda are a 3 minute drive, as is the ferry boat to Elafonisos Island, with the world renowned magical beach of Simos. Within 20 minutes are the famous medieval Castle of Monemvasia and the Cave of Castania.

All the local shops and restaurants are right next to you. The Castle of Monemvasia, Castania’s Cave and the ferry boat to Kythera are all a 20 minute drive.

Welcome to Kourkoula House, a little piece of heaven in Monemvasia, Greece. The traditional house is one of the oldest buldings of the greater area of the Castle of Monemvasia. Located just above the first port of the area named "Kourkoula", it has now turned into a very hospitable place. It is 2 min by car from Marathia beach, 8 min from Archangelos, 15 min from Plitra, 20 min from Neapolis and Elafonisos and 30 min from Monemvasia!

Almi Guesthouse: a tiny gem, literally on the sea

Welcome to Almi Guesthouse, a tiny jem, literally on the sea. The guesthouse consists of a single open space with a traditional dome ceiling and a bathroom, a total of 18sqm. Outside there is a paved little yard which leads to the edge of the rocks. The building was reconstructed in 2019 and it is located on the underside of the road that connects the Bridge with the gates of the Castle, near Kourkoula, a natural pool.
