The Brickhouse

Nestled right in the heart of downtown Waterloo, The Brickhouse is a cozy, eclectic getaway just blocks from all of the local restaurants, bars, and adorable shops ready to serve you. With two bedrooms, Brickhouse has one king size bed, four twin beds, and a pull out queen sized sofa to sleep up to 8 guests. Enjoy your stay in our St. Louis themed house. The kitchen is fully stocked with coffee bar, dishes, pots & pans. The three bedrooms, the Cardinals room, the Blues room and the Union Station room each have a queen bed with spacious closets. A large covered deck for BBQ. The full basement is set for family fun! A full sized laundry room is there for your convenience. The Arch, Stadium, Six Flags, Science Center, Zoo, Forest Part, etc are under 30 minutes. Local shopping is within minutes.

FUNKS INN no extra guest fee or cleaning fee

This house was built in 1870, it is a stone structure and was used as a family farm home. It has been remodeled for its use today. It is historically correct, which includes antiques of the time. Post Civil War era, furniture including the beds of this period. Another interesting aspect, is that the floors are all original. Mattresses, blankets pillows, bedding and towels are all new. The wine cellar that we have added, made on location. I always leave some out for guests. No fee.
