Wood floors throughout, comfortable leather furniture, king bed in master, 2 twin beds in 2nd bedroom, wifi, 55” LED TV, full size washer/dryer, stove, microwave, kitchen table w/ 6 chairs, tub/shower, full size fridge, propane grill, lawn chairs. Shampoo, soap, coffee provided. Additional twin bed available on porch (spring / summer / fall - AC on porch. Not ideal during cold weather).

School House Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Quiet and remote. You will see plenty of wildlife and the stars at night, and listen to the coyotes howl. Located 3 miles southwest of Johnstown, NE. This was once a one room grade school that has been converted into a cozy cabin for your enjoyment. No tv, no Wi-Fi, cell service is available. The school house cabin is located next to the Plum Creek Wildlife Management Area and 22 miles from the Niobrara River and 13 miles from Ainsworth, NE.

Valentine’s Tourist Tenure

Valentine’s Tourist Tenure is Located right off HWY 97 on your way to Merritt Dam. We would love to host you during your time in the Heart City! Our cozy little space has all that you will need for time away and we aim to make you to feel right at home. It is located close to the Bait shop and all of the restaurants, gas stations, Scotty’s Ranchland Foods, and more. There is plenty of room on the property for parking your RV, trailer, or boat as well. We can’t wait to host you for you stay!

Merritt Dam Road Hill House

The Merritt Dam Road Hill House sits high up on the hill overlooking Merritt Reservoir and the Snake River. This gorgeous cabin has vaulted ceilings, a wide open design, 2 bedrooms on the main floor, a loft with 3 beds, a cozy fire place, and 2 decks to enjoy the most scenic view of the sand hills. This cabin is located just north of Merritt Dam and only a few miles from the Snake Falls Sportsman's Club, Prairie Club, and Cap Rock. Make your next trip to Valentine even more memorable!

Annie's House

This lovely home was built in 1890 for Mr. Charles Hiram Cornell. He was a Nebraska State Senator in 1888 and was also the Founder of the First National Bank in Valentine, as well as Cornell Dam With a great central location, the house is within walking distance to local restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. Owned by one family since the 1950’s, it is named for my mother Annie, who loved living here. Please enjoy making your own memories in this home, and in the Heart City!
