Bask in wonderful coastal views and glorious sunsets strolling along coast-hugging roads, breathing in fresh sea air, sit out enjoying starry skies before falling asleep to the sound of the sea. Arguably Irelands best scenery, enjoy views of Dingle Peninsula/Coumeenoole Bay, the Blasket Islands and Dunmore Head. The famous Coumeenoole beach is a 10 minute stroll, Dingle town is 10 miles away and Killarney 50 miles.

This recently renovated traditional solid stone farmhouse 1865 is a perfect location to enjoy a relaxing stay, located 3 miles outside Cahersiveen, off the main Ring of Kerry road. A great base for discovering Valentia Island, Skellig Rocks, Numerous Beaches & Golf Courses. Located within the Dark Sky Reserve, the Farmhouse has 3 Large Roof Windows, so star gazing can be done while relaxing indoors!! Ideal location for walkers with the Beentee loop walk and Cnoc na dTobar pilgrim path close by.

The Beara Bus....with Awesome Views

The Beara Bus is a unique living space situated on the coastline with stunning views across the Atlantic to the Sheeps Head and Mizen Head Peninsulas and Bere Island. The entrance to the harbour of Castletownbere ( Irelands second largest fishing port) can be seen with the daily coming and goings of the fishing fleet. In the waters below the Bus basking shark, minke whale and dolphins are frequent visitors. The sun rising up over Sheeps Head Peninsula can make for an unforgettable breakfast !

Our Seaside Cottage is a wonderfully comfortable, spacious, bright and airy place. The beach is only a 3 minute walk away, the Light house about 10. Geese and chickens (and in Spring pet lambs) will be passing by your double door, while you are having your breakfast. If you feed them they will keep you company - their eggs are delicious! Donkeys Salem and Rolo, escape artists, should be in the field in front of the cottage, but they might just be having a little wander...

Set on a gentle slope, with panoramic views down to Dingle Bay and across to the Ivreagh peninsula, and the Conor Pass at the rear, our house is a quiet and restful place. The field on one side has an ancient 'standing stone' and looks towards the village of Lispole . On the other side is Dingle, 4km away with its sheltered harbour. In the fields on the headland opposite and nearby there are ring forts and standing stones.
