Vista Road Farm Lodge

Relax with your whole family and pets on our farm! The self catering thatchroof farm lodge has a securely fenced yard and is fully furnished for long stays and adventurous activities. Trail runner, fisherman, mountain biker and motor biker's playground. Explore the Mooi River and a whole farm full of trails, hills, forests, streams and dams. The farm is a working beef and dairy farm and curious visitors are always welcome to join us! Please note there is 4km of rough dirt road to access the farm

Highbourne Cottages - Protea

Tucked away on the side of a mountain overlooking the surrounding mountains. Protea cottage is open plan family cottage with the heart of the cottage opening onto a wooden deck – the perfect spot to watch the setting sun. The cottage sleeps up to four people with one large open planned studio-style bedroom on the ground floor and an open loft upstairs with two single beds, just perfect for a family of 4. The studio design allows flow from the well-equipped kitchen to the lounge area and bedroom.

Start your holiday here on route to the coast or meet friends mid-way from JHB & Durban for a getaway or celebration, or a wedding at the little church just up the road. The best kept secret 2km off the N3 on the Van Reenen's Pass. We also have 2 cottages.

Cairn Cottage is a 3 bedroomed house on Cathkin Estates, in the Champagne Valley of the Central Drakensberg. There are stunning views of Cathin Peak and Champagne Castle from the verandah of the cottage. Cathkin Estate has a multitude of bird and animal life, and there are numerous walks and cycle paths , to explore. Within a short drive, of the Estate, there are restaurants, golf courses, spa , monks cowl nature reserve, Falcon Ridge- Bird of Prey Centre, laundromat, shopping centre.

Situated in Central Drakensberg, Sleeps 8 people in 4 en suite bedrooms, There is full DSTV with uncapped Wi-Fi and a fireplace. The fully fitted kitchen with modern appliances has a microwave, washing machine, air fryer fridge and dishwasher. The taps are fitted with filters . Heaters and fans are available if required. Each bedside is fitted with adaptors for cell phones on either end. The 10 x 4 pool is the biggest pool in the complex. Fully serviced before and upon departure
