Excellent stay — group of 11 across 6 rooms! Jorge was a great host. Place was clean, beds were comfortable, showers were clean and with hot water. Would 110% stay here again if visiting Ollantaytambo. Jorge woke up early to make us breakfast before our early train to Machu Picchu. He also provided great restaurant recommendations, advice on local excursions, and Spanish lessons.

Es dificil describir con palabras todo lo que vivimos y sentimos en ese lugar. Nicolas desde el principio fue amable atento y nos ayudó con indicaciones de servicios, ordenando las alimentaciones y mucho más. Llegando en la casa, que tiene una ubicación alta, con una vista linda para la montaña chicon, todo es aún más lindo que en las fotos. Todo ordenado, limpio y bien cuidado. Uno se siente en casa. Carmen es muy amable y atenta, cocina muy bien y cuida de la casa con amor. Si o si vamos a volver y recomendar a muchas personas para vivir esa experiencia linda. Sólo agradecer a Nicolás, Carmen y todos que hacer posible esa experiencia!

As we arrived very late at night, Brik, the host was waiting us up and greeted us warmly, showing us around everything, answered all our questions and attended all our needs. The next morning, Brik went as far as joining us on the motor bikes and showing us around locally in where to get essentials, change money, and what not. The home is a perfect place for a peaceful Sacred Valley stay, had all essentials, plus! our family used the grounds and fire place for a local cacao ceremony under the stars, the kids loved the pool, it was everything we could've asked for. I will recommend this place to my family and friends. and I publicly wanna thank Brik for his utmost warmth as a host and for giving us a memorable experience!

The Refugio is GORGEOUS...the pictures truly do not do it justice. It's definitely on the pricy side for Peru, but you pay for the views and the "resort" feel of the space. The breakfast was incredible...one of the best I had in my month in the Sacred Valley. The dinner I got one evening was just good/okay...and quite expensive. I did have some trouble finding the place (partly due to communication barriers with my driver), and getting in - the lock code I was given did not work, and nobody answered my frantic bell ringing. Do note that there are separate contact numbers to get ahold of staff members - I missed that piece in the instructions and had a mild panic when the number listed on Airbnb went straight to voicemail! Overall not my favorite stay during my time in Peru, but I would go back if I wanted to treat myself to a romantic resort-type couple of evenings :-)

Súper cómodo, las personas a cargo de la limpieza y ayuda son súper amables, lugar perfecto para relajarte en familia o con amigos.

The house was great! The grounds surrounding the house were amazing, with a number of blooming flowers and fruit trees. The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen were clean and comfortable. The views from the second floor bedrooms were amazing. The house is a few minutes away from the center of the city, giving it the feel of a country home, with little noise, allowing you to wake up to singing birds every morning. At night, due to the lack of surrounding light pollution, we were able to lay on the grass and see the milky way galaxy for the first time. Rocio, the inn keeper, was amazing, she cooked a good breakfast, with fresh bread, butter, eggs, freshly made juice and homemade jam. Every night, she would ask the time at which to serve breakfast, clean the kitchen and make the beds. Leonard, the recommended transportation and tour guide was incredible, picking us up and taking us everywhere for a reasonable fare. Alojamiento muy pintoresco con una hermosa vista. Ofrecen un buen desayuno. Es recomendable tomar un mototaxi ya que los autos no acceden a la calle. Muchas gracias Edison!

Nuestra experiencia en el hotel de Rita fue sumamente positiva. El hotel cómodo y limpio. Rita siempre estuvo a nuestra disposición cada vez que la necesitamos. Nos recomendó qué hacer en cuanto a nuestra visita al Machu Picchu. Volveríamos a elegirla si nos toca volver a Aguas Calientes sin dudas. Súper recomendable.

Absolutely spectacular space!!! The house is simply gorgeous, the decoration amazing, the garden is a dream. The house comes with Marlene who prepares the best breakfast and (for an additional price) cooks lunch or dinner, local, spectacular. We were treated amazingly by the staff, lighting the fireplaces every evening so we’d be cozy. We were working in Urubamba and coming home to a beautifully cooked meal and warm home was just the greatest gift ever. We’ll be back.
