The home itself was beautifully designed, well-equipped, and provided all the comforts needed for a perfect stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat in nature with luxury and charm, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Nuestra estadía en este Airbnb fue una verdadera delicia. El lugar es increíblemente bonito y está inmerso en un entorno natural que invita al descanso y a la desconexión. Es el lugar perfecto para quienes deseen tomarse un respiro del ajetreo diario y recargar energías escuchando los sonidos del bosque y admirando el paisaje. En cuanto a las instalaciones, todo está impecable. La limpieza es de primer nivel y se nota que hay un esfuerzo por mantener todo en perfectas condiciones. Además, el anfitrión es sumamente amable y atento; sus respuesta. Lo que realmente hizo especial nuestra estadía fue el tour de cacao. Aprendimos muchísimo sobre el proceso de producción del chocolate, desde el grano hasta la barra. Además, tuvimos la oportunidad de comprar una buena cantidad de chocolate, lo cual fue un plus delicioso.

This was our second stay at Alberto’s. We love the location - close to restaurants, train and groceries. The condo has everything you need. The bed is comfortable and the neighborhood very safe. We will stay here again if it is available when we are back.

El alojamiento era muy lindo y espacioso, tenía una vista hermosa y la zona verde era muy amplia, lo cual le encantó a nuestra perrita aparte que era cerrado lo cual li hacía más seguro. Era muy tranquilo apenas para relajarse y escuchar los pajaritos pero a poca distancia habían restaurantes y abastecedores para comprar comida. Adriana y Josué fueron muy amables en todo momento y muy dispuestos a ayudarnos en lo que necesitáramos, sin duda volveríamos

La quinta es como se describe, es muy bella, amplia y cómoda Parqueo muy espacioso, pero compartido con otras cabañas Hicimos algunas recomendaciones a la host sobre la falta de utensilios básicos y detallitos qué ella recibió con muy buen actitud y prometió mejorar. Recomiendo completamente el lugar, si van en grupos grandes lo van a pasar muy bien. Lugar tranquilo, bello y callado Fue perfecto!

¡Un lugar maravilloso para viajeros! La casa es espaciosa, tranquila y muy bonita. La piscina es un gran plus, perfecta para refrescarse en un día caluroso y disfrutar de un café en el rancho. La cocina está muy bien equipada, no me faltó nada para preparar mi desayuno. Súper recomendado, especialmente para pasear en familia. Con respecto a la zona, puedo decir que se encuentra en una hacienda cafetalera con gran historia y hasta con una iglesia patrimonio cultural, por lo que pudimos tomar un tour a caballo y conocer la catarata, el pueblo, cafetales, iglesia, todo explicado por un guía, ah y hasta pudimos conocer el proceso para hacer el café. Todo muy bien, lo recomiendo.

Es un gran host. Traten de ir en un día con buen clima para que aprovechen todo lo que ofrece el lugar. La llegada es complicada, recomendaría un 4x4 para la misma. Hay dos restaurantes que hacen entregas a domicilio.

Wir waren 14 Tage in dieser Unterkunft, weil wir uns von einer Grippe erholen mussten. Die Wohnung war ideal dafür. Sie ist ruhig, sicher, hat Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ganz in der Nähe und wird super von Angela betreut, die gleich nebenan wohnt. Die Bushaltestelle ist in der Nähe. Es gibt Busse ins Zentrum von Cartago, aber auch welche direkt nach San José. Die Wohnung ist super sauber, die Küche ist perfekt und im kleinen Garten wächst Pfefferminze, die man zu Tee verarbeitet kann 😜.

Great location between Santa Maria and Copey. Our dogs loved the secure garden and short trail to the river. Rolando was a lovely host.

Buscábamos un lugar tranquilo pero no muy lejos de los servicios de la ciudad. La casa está bien equipada en la cocina, y doña Leidy ofrece ingredientes básicos como sal, café, azúcar y té. El residencial es muy seguro y hay una zona verde muy cerca, pero por las circunstancias actuales del virus estaba cerrada. Eventualmente escucharás algún vecino pero durante nuestra estadía hubo bastante calma. Doña Leidy es muy simpática y siempre estuvo atenta de que estuviéramos bien.

Leonardo’s place was even more beautiful than the photos! Very peaceful and a great place to start our trip to Costa Rica. He even helped arrange transportation for us from San José, which worked out great. Would love to stay again if we are in Turrialba!

El alojamiento estaba muy limpio, nos sentimos a gusto, y el administrador fue muy atento para solucionar.

Nosotros ya es la segunda vez que vamos para trabajar… reunimos nuestro equipo de trabajo y es súper cómodo porque cada quien tiene su habitación con baño para comodidad. Tiene muchos espacios que pueden ser utilizados para tiempos de plantación y trabajo. Las zonas verdes y sus lugares de recreación son geniales para tiempos de compartir y unir el equipo. Tienen absolutamente todo lo que se pueda necesitar, las dos áreas de cocina son súper equipadas De verdad que es un lugar solo para llegar y llevar lo de uno personal porque todo lo demás lo suministran. No hay queja de nada es un hermoso lugar.

If you are expecting a 5 star hotel do not go here. If you are expecting an experience, amazing food, no AC, cold showers, no iron or hair dryer and an amazing rural farm experience that you will never forget then this is the place to go. Extremely good, honest, hard working people. They feed you almost everything they grow or raise and give you the same food they eat or feed their kids. Mary Luz is an amazing person and a great cook. Plenty of other options available in the area to get a farm experience but if you also want a foodie experience then this place is it. As everyone has said rough roads but we had a good suv and got there in 20 minutes after we turned off highway 32. For some people it may take 45 minutes. Expect to get woken up with birds and roosters making a racket around 5:30 am.

Adriana's home was the perfect longer term accommodation for my work trip to Cartago. I was there for 3 weeks, and felt at home the whole time. The location was secure (gated community), comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend and will also be looking to book again myself for future trips to the area. Thank you Adriana!

There simply is no better ambassador to Costa Rica than Juan Miguel. He and his family could not have been more gracious or accommodating hosts. Through his kind guidance (and the Waze app), we were able to get to this serene mountain location. The accommodations are as beautiful as the stunning scenery. The home is architecturally gorgeous; the balcony and patio terrace overlook a dramatic drop down a forested mountain. The craftsmanship of the modern interior design is impressive. This place is all we (as gringos) could imagine. Modern space, thoughtful decor, breathtaking view, and best climate (if you are not a burn-and-swelter beach person). This idyllic spot is why you traveled to Costa Rica.

Volveríamos siempre , y no duden en reservar está alojamiento. La casa de Adrián es un excelente lugar para desconectarse y relajarse en medio de la naturaleza, tiene prácticamente de patio un río con unas vistas increíbles que lo hacen querer estar todo el día ahí. Se ven y se escuchan muchas aves que hacen que el lugar sea mucho más agradable. Y otro punto es que es un excelente lugar para llevar a la mascota. Adrián muy atento y siempre pendiente.

Cozy house and has an open plan, so its very open (which i loved) A lot of closet space available in 2 of the rooms. lovely backyard. Has an outside grill which was very nice. Ample bathroom with hot water. The host was very friendly and made our stay amazing. Ample parking. Right next to a lil family fast food joint with a lot of options as well as a little market. Keep in mind, this is on a main road, so there is some noise early morning, but it's manageable. Would absolutely stay here again!
