We are a ten minute drive from the ferry over to the town of Fowey (sailing, good restaurants, shopping) and the old fishing village of Polperro is a couple of miles in the opposite direction with Looe a short distance beyond.

There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. You'll be surrounded by trees, bird song and the constant sound of running water and the sight of our resident heron by the waterfall. The Mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.

The Barn is a perfect escape for a couple. A spacious open-plan barn with kitchen and living room, flagstone floor and underfloor air-source heating and an overhead sleeping platform. Ideal for water activities, restaurants, shopping and beaches! We have stunning water vistas from all rooms and beautiful outside areas. Plenty of storage in the basement for your outdoor activities. The cottage has recently been renovated to a high standard, whilst maintaining all its beamed, period charm and character.
