This is the quintessential cottage in the woods. Rustic and charming, the furnishings were simple but comfortable. I loved that the well-equipped kitchen had open shelf and cubby storage, which made it easy to find what I needed and to store and stash our goods. Sadly, We didn’t have time to explore the beautiful area - although we did slip over to Suck creek which we could hear burbling from the house. Lots of chalk marks on the big boulders around the creek - a climbers’ dream. Hiking trails in every direction, and so many beautiful swimming holes. This would be such a great couples stay for the outdoor inclined and any kid’s dream weekend. Susanna was quick to respond and welcoming. We will look for availability again in the future !

The host made us feel welcomed and the home was clean and beautiful. This by far was the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at and it made our anniversary that much more special.

This was our second stay in the “Sisters Cabin”, and just like our first in 2022, it did not disappoint! Located on a bluff in bucolic, sylvan Monteagle, TN, this is a quiet, restful retreat that features super-comfortable beds, killer sunsets and views and a lovely covered back porch. Colene and her sister, Carla, are consummate, communicative hosts who go the extra mile to make sure you feel at home and are well taken-care of! Carla even came by twice during our weekend to drop off some blankets during an unexpected May cold snap and to re-light the fireplace pilot light. It can be a little tricky to find the place at night or if it’s your first visit, but that is part of the “off-the-beaten-path” vibe that enhances the retreat-like atmosphere of the property. We can’t recommend this quaint, comfortable and clean-as-whistle cabin enough! We also were pleased to see some upgrades and refreshed amenities (blackout blinds, new tile shower in the 3rd BR). Only bad thing about this place is it’s right next to a highway. Other than that it’s great.

I booked Sabrina’s place last minute as a 4-day family gathering/birthday getaway for my sis. We loved it! We should have asked for better weather because it rained off and on the entire weekend BUT it was so comfortable, roomy, and cozy inside, we were all happy. We had a total of 7 people at one point and weren’t on top of each other. The video games were stocked, streaming was set, and there were large versions of board games to play with. Plus, a movie theatre style popcorn machine! The back deck, bedroom deck, and extended dock provide ample hangout space outside, also. Fantastic stay. Side note: The road is quite winding to get around the river bend to the property (8 miles), so arrive with daylight to be safe. Jasper is a nice town about 25 mins away with restaurants and a grocery store. Chattanooga is about the same distance with heavy traffic in the other direction.

Five Stars is not enough! This home was exceptional! Perfectly clean, peaceful, and with absolutely everything needed. All needs are anticipated, all instructions clear. What a wonderful stay! Thank you for being great hosts!!!

What a peaceful beautiful place to stay on the Tennessee River. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. Clean and roomy and had everything we needed . Would highly recommend

Had a great stay, check in was super easy and the room is very cute and comfortable. The location was great as it’s right at the base of Lookout Mountain and also just ten mins from most places in downtown Chattanooga. It is right next to a decently busy road and we heard some larger trucks at night but didn’t affect our experience much and we would return. Great stay overall!

My friend and I had stayed here over the weekend, it was great for what we were needing. We were going to a music festival over the weekend and we had all essentials and Vicky was very nice. The area is also nice and peaceful it was a great place to have a break at between the festival.

This is the second time I’ve stayed in this lovely apartment. Both times I felt right at home. The space has everything you need to be comfortable during your time on the mountain. The hosts are so friendly and accommodating as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient spot to stay on campus. It is so nice to have Amenities like a full kitchen and washer and dryer too!

great place to stay right off the highway! the ac unit was a tad loud but I did not mind that. Hosts were super responsive and ready to help. Will stay again if in the area!

Walk in to this new and clean place and you are showered with treats and eats! The host really goes overboard to please her guests. Wonderful experience!

Enjoyed the secluded atmosphere, very relaxing. We saw deer several evenings just before dark. Cabin had all the amenities ever needed and more.

Great place, great stay! So fun to be so close to down town, while also being able to fish, play in the creek and canoe.

Very family friendly place in a safe, spacious environment. The house is exactly like the photos. Beds are comfortable and there’s a lot of outdoor space. We struggled with the front door lock so we ended up leaving it locked and used an unlocked door on the back porch when we left. This was a great location near a wedding venue. It was basically the only place we could find or honestly I would not have paid as much. We did receive last minute check in info that said we couldn’t turn the air below 74 because he said the unit would freeze up and if so we would have to pay the service fee. This was not in the listing and the owner retracted that request.

My husband and I had a great time at the cabin. The property is incredibly peaceful. We probably spent 99% of our time just staring at the view. We loved the goats and chickens and even had a visit from a sweet neighborhood dog. We will definitely be coming back sometime!

We loved this property! We only got to stay one night but enjoyed a nice sunset watching a family of geese in the nearby pond and listening to nature from the hot tub. All four of us loved it (from 5 year old to 75 year old)! Genette was very helpful and responsive. Cabin was super cozy and welcoming! We will be back!

This is an amazing home, on a beautiful location and with fantastic hosts. The home is just like the pictures - wonderful beds, stocked kitchen, new coffee pot!!, new carpets, amazing hot tub and a fantastic fire pit. The most amazing view from a mountain top overlooking a great valley. Owners are responsive and easy to reach. Truly everything we 3 cousins need for a restful stay.

PERFECT lake view log cabin! We adored everything about our stay, from the expansive window views, to the very comfortable bedding. Can’t forget the glorious deep bathtub too! The flexible check in/out time was the best Airbnb perk we ever experienced, we will be back in the future! Clean, spacious, & peaceful. Thanks a bunch Beth!
