We stayed for 2 nights at Sarah's cottage and we were delighted with the facilities and location. It was around the corner from the High Street and was ideally positioned for shopping, restaurants and even the Steam Train. We would love to come back next time we visit! Thank you, Sarah

This house was amazing, perfect for our relaxing getaway! The rooms were ideal and the extra bedrooms in the annex were great. The garden and hot tub were fantastic. Trystan was a great host and nothing was too much trouble - even made sure we had an emergency delivery of wood!

We had a gorgeous stay at Shuttaford Farm. There are so many lovely touches in the barn that you feel right at home, but it all feels very special and thoughtful. Fran was a terrific host - responsive and friendly, and even leant me a spare pair of walking boots when I realised I’d left mine at home! The surrounding area is just stunning - highly recommend a walk through Hembury Woods. Highly recommended for a family trip.

We’ve just returned from an amazing bank holiday weekend at Louise’s property, celebrating a joint 40th birthday with friends, and it couldn’t have been better. The weather was fantastic, so we spent most of our time enjoying the sunny garden and the pool, which was a huge hit with both kids and big kids! The pool was much larger than we expected and it was always the perfect temperature. We made great use of the BBQ and fire pit area, which was especially lovely at sunset. The house itself is beautiful. All the bedrooms are a great size and with stunning views, and the kitchen that had everything we needed and more. One afternoon, we walked across a couple of fields to The Blacksmith Arms pub, about 15 minutes away, and had a lush lunch. During the days, we watched birds in the garden, and at dusk, we were treated to the sight of bats swooping overhead. The kids also had a great time visiting the chickens. Thank you so much, Louise. Stayed for around 4 nights and had an absolutely wonderful winter holidays together with my young family. The house is stunning the interior design is lovely and and the views are heavenly. Log fire with plenty of fuel was a big hit! pool and hotub a once a day at least activity for the kids especially during bank holidays. The fully stocked playroom was perfect for our young children. Really captured some great memories together with our family in this peaceful location and setting and came away wanting more!

My friend and I loved our stay at Monty's. The house is beautiful and everything is in its place and spotlessly clean. Maria had left us some really useful walking guides, and one of them led us to possibly the most stunning walk we had ever been on (Salcombe to Bolt Head). It was such a lovely gesture to find a yummy chocolate cake waiting for us on arrival, too. The bath was also a real treat, particularly after a long coastal hike! Thank you very much for having us, Maria, we hope to be back again! X

What an amazing hidden gem! Very off the beaten track. Gorgeous views and perfect location to stargaze in the hot tub. Really appreciated the personal escort when we got lost. Thank you 😊

What a great house to stay in, the pictures don’t actually do it justice. It has everything that you could expect and more, plenty of space and stuff to keep children occupied

The farm was in a beautiful setting, with gorgeous views. It was peaceful and spacious for our large family get together. Salcombe and the surrounding area is very lovely, with some challenging roads, but thats Devon! All the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and private. The kitchen was excellent and very well equipped and Freya was helpful and friendly from the start and super responsive when we had a minor query. We loved our stay, would highly recommend and would love to stay again.

Lovely space and a great reponsive and accommodating host. Very convient if visiting family at the hopsital or Plymouth and surrounding area. Would highly recommend.

Emily was a fab host! We loved the scones she baked and the place was stunning. Gorgeous views, lovely and tidy. Emily was super responsive to all my questions and gave a big list of recommendations for the area! Would defo recommend to friends and would return ~ thank you Emily!

We had a great stay here. A lovely place and peaceful setting. There were clear instructions for everything making our stay stress free. Great location for visiting Dartmoor national park. We also visited Blackpool sands beach which was amazing. The 1.30hr drive was worth it for us although there are closer beaches. Nice sitting at the meadow and having our morning coffee with the chickens who paid us a visit. Thank you Ilona for a great couple of days away

Beautiful accommodation, very tastefully furnished and comfortable. Village location was great with walks and pubs in easy reach. Only downside for us was nowhere really to let the dogs out of the door, had to walk them to the meadow.

Jo and Graham are great hosts. My dog and I felt welcome immediately. Very good amenities and beautiful surroundings. They went above and beyond for me.

We had a fantastic break at The Annex in Frogmore. It was equipped with everything we needed for our 3 night stay and the home was beautifully clean and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the estuary and walking across to the pub opposite in the evenings.

We enjoyed our two night stay at Carl's place. Nice quiet cul-de-sac and good comms made it a stress-free stay.

If Airbnb did platinum stars the lodge would get 10! Jamie & Phil are such lovely guys, a really warm welcome and the location and the lodge definitely have the wow factor, the photos do not do it justice! Beautiful interior design and decor, bed was so comfortable with lovely bedding.. The honey, eggs & fresh flowers are a lovely touch.. It really is the perfect place to unwind & recharge.. The lodge has everything you can want , sitting on the terrace with your morning coffee listening to the birdsong, what a way to start the day or wander down to the Zen Den, not forgetting to say hello to the chickens on your way past, sit back and listen to the river.. A short drive and the delights of Dartmoor await, although we changed our plans on our first day and spent the day at the lodge as we wanted to switch off and indeed we did.. Am already thinking of when I can visit again, it would be perfect for my writing.. Thanks again guys and not forgetting the gorgeous Maya.. Lxx

I had such a friendly welcome from Rachel, with everything that I needed set up and ready to go. And even though the pod felt very private, and away from it all, I also felt very safe, especially as I was alone. Incredibly peaceful, and perfect for a break away from the real world.

Hucks cabin will leave a special place on our hearts . What an amazing place to switch off and enjoy time together . The cabin is so cosy and well stocked with amenities , the wood burner was a real feature for us, and the outdoor space with the bbq and fire pit too. Waking up to sound of all the birds was so lovely. We will def be recommending this place to our F&F

We had a fantastic 4-night stay at Wootten Deer Park and Safari Lodges. The lodge was spotless, beautifully set up and had everything we needed for a comfortable family break. The setting is what really makes it – peaceful, scenic and with the most incredible views of the deer, which made it feel really special. Kylie was a brilliant host – friendly, helpful and clearly cares a lot about making sure guests have a great experience. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed and already thinking about when we can come back.

We had an incredible stay and will definitely be returning. Blackpool Sands was close by and is a lovely beach. The house was beautiful and the rooms was even more beautiful than in the photos. I can highly recommend this place.
