In fairness, the photos don't actually do it justice. The flat is so lovely and bright and spacious. The fact that there is an enclosed front garden (not evident from the photos) meant that I could safely let the dog out to do her business without having to worry. The kind touches like leaving milk, washing up clothes and flowers were really thoughtful and especially the chocolate! Will definitely be back again. Cannot fault this place at all and the comms were very efficient all the way through. So glad it was free for us to enjoy at Easter :-)

Fabulous place to stay for a quiet and peaceful rest. Stunning surroundings over looking a lake. Beautifully presented cabin with all the amenities you could wish for. Very welcoming host Fern who was very friendly and informative. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this as a great place to stay and look forwards to returning there again at some point.

Stayed in this lovely loft for a few days on a trip to Southend. Felt very homely and had everything we could have needed. Great that the tv was all set up with the apps and easy to watch all the streaming services, and games and books available if we fancied a night in. Cupboard was stocked with essentials for cooking and the coffee and biscuits were a nice touch. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Second time here and won’t be the last. Adam Is the perfect host. Location of lodge is incredible. The family love it!

Worth every penny! We stayed here for 5 weeks while I did my cabin crew training at the CAE. Beautiful property just like the photos, squeaky clean, private and everything we needed to make it home!! Sarah is super responsive and helpful in every way. Clean linen and towels every week as promised, bed linen was so soft!! Brighton is a 20 minute drive & great for the weekends.. Sarah gave us lots of great recommendations, which we loved! Thank you so much again Sarah, you are a beautiful person inside and out!! Xx

We had a truly wonderful retreat at the ÖÖD House the design of the house is incredible—being inside feels both cosy and luxurious, yet you’re completely immersed with nature. Watching the birds, ducks, and other wildlife so closely was such a special experience. Even though the weather wasn’t that great, it didn’t affect us at all. The layout of the house is very well thought out. The shower was fantastic, and the hot tub was absolutely perfect—hot and relaxing. We also had a lovely barbecue and spent time feeding the fish right from the deck. There were plenty of them, and they would come right up to be fed—it was surprisingly therapeutic and calming. Overall, this was a very unique and memorable stay. we enjoyed our time and would definitely love to return.

We spent a wonderful long weekend at Lennie’s place. (Almost) without bias, I can honestly say it offered the most beautiful view of the coastline. A romantic and cozy accommodation: having breakfast on the terrace with a glass of prosecco while admiring the scenery — and catching a glimpse of the old continent — priceless! The host was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful, offering great recommendations on what to see and explore in the area. We’re already planning our next visit to this charming little town!

We were only able to stay for a couple of nights here, but were sad it couldn't be longer! The apartment is clean and spacious and well-equipped, with everything you need and more. The bed is very comfy and the bath is very luxurious and a wonderful way to relax, overlooking the sea! The situation is beautiful- right on the sea front which is such a treat. Teresa is a great host - great communication throughout with a welcoming and friendly manner. Would definitely return.
