Weathercock House Tigoni

Weathercock House and its enchanting garden share the air, peace and fertility of Kenya's tea-growing highlands, where Nairobi seems distant as another planet. And yet, as a photo shows, the city still seems so close, you could skip down the lawn and launch yourself into its roiling imbroglio. The house itself is spacious, a bit old-school, but warm and comfortably furnished, with original art works by famous Kenyan artists. The garden is a treasure trove of birds and trees and flowering plants.

It is NOT one single house but you will still be very close to each other as the cottages are situated right next to each other. The entire space is completely private to you.

Cosy 2 bedroom cottage in Mwitu, Karen

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space whilst enjoying total suclusion from the rest of the world to top it off reaming a short distance from the heart of Karen. This is a lovely 2 bedroom cottage with an open plan living room and a full kitchen. Located in Karen on The Mwitu Estate, which is secluded away from main roads. Mwitu is a very secure, private neighbourhood with no noise polution and only a short 10 minute trip to The Hub and other popular destinations in Karen.

Staffed 4 bedroom bungalow on private estate

Kawamwaki Farm House is a 1920s colonial bungalow with beautiful views over a meadow and indigenous forest. It is in a quiet residential area. The house, which can sleep 8 people across 4 bedrooms, is fully staffed. Guests also have access to a living room (with roaring fire), TV room, large dining room and verandha with wonderful views. From there you can enjoy the private land on foot or horseback. Ideal for a quiet family weekend away - not a party house.

Idyllic Lakeside Apartment in Nairobi

This is a unique and tranquil lakeside apartment 10 minutes from Westlands and 5 minutes from Village Market in Nairobi in a safe and secure estate. You would have to see it to believe it. You will often be woken by swansong from swans taking a morning dip in the lake and debating the meaning of life. The apartment makes every day feel like a holiday. It is a personal slice of heaven that you are welcome to share whenever I am away.
