Decking areas, outside the living space and bedroom give wonderful views of the countryside. You have sole use of the whole field with al fresco dining area,barbecue, swings,table tennis and its own hens!

It has its own private toilet and shower facilities in separate huts adjacent to the main cabin accessed by a pathway. We provide a kettle, toaster, microwave, induction hob, gas hob & BBQ for outdoors, cutlery, small coolbox, crockery, cooking utensils, bedding and towels.

Shuttaford Barn is a recently converted barn on a 16thC Dartmoor farmstead on the edge of the moors next to Holne and Ashburton. It is the perfect spot to explore the wilds of Dartmoor National Park, walk along the beautiful River Dart or head to the many South Devon beaches for the day. Or just relax in the peaceful surroundings of the barn and its garden. In summer months we generally do Friday to Friday bookings. Please message us if you would like to book alternative days.

The Cabin is a 15 minute walk to the vibrant and independent town centre of Totnes, and 20 minute walk to the train station. There are many beautiful walks very close by including Follaton House and gardens directly over the road.
