Charming two room apartment for rent. Located in a 17th century 'hotel particulier' (a private historical mansion) in the heart of the Marais. The area is extremely lively and is right in the center of Paris, within a few steps from museums [and other historical points of interest, lake Notre-Dame]. Apartment is on the 2nd floor by a beautiful stairs and has beautiful views overlooking the peaceful cobbled courtyard of the building. The apartment sleeps 2 people comfortably, but could accommodate up to 4 people (using the fold out bed in the living room). The apartment is housed in a heritage protected building and is safely secured with an entrance door accessible via code from the street and a buzzer for the apartment. The apartment is 40m2 and is newly renovated. It is made up of one bedroom with a double bed (160cm), a living room with a fold out bed and fully equipped kitchen (fridge, freezer, coffee maker, kettle, grill, microwave, oven, dishwasher, washing machine and 2 large closets). The fold up bed (when not in use) serves as a couch in the living room. The freshly refurbished bathroom consists of a large shower and basin. The toilet is separate. The apartment is surrounded by countless amenities (including supermarkets, bakeries, chemists, banks, specialty boutiques and clothes stores). Some of the most sought after and vibrant restaurants and bars can be found at the apartment's doorstep. Metro stations: Hotel de Ville line 1 and 11. Chatelet les Halles is a 5 minute walk away and permits access to RER A and B and lines 14, 1 and 7 to Charles de Gaulle airport. The perfect place to discover Paris. Our spacious 70 m2 are situated next to the famous Centre Pompidou in the city center of Paris. You can easily discover the whole town on foot, lots of sites are near-by. We are located on the first floor (no lift, but only one flight of stairs) in a pedestrian area without traffic. Sleeping is very calm. The neighborhood though is lively with lots of cafés and restaurants around. It will be a pleasure for us to provide recommendations for a happy stay!
