Really clean! just like what other reviews mentioned. There's heater in the shared bunk bed room too. Private parking for guest so you don't have to park by the road side.

What a dreamy place to land after three days tramping the routeburn trail! Even better than the photos, I wish we had stayed longer! Thank you!!!

A beautiful setting, lovely staff and very nice and comfortable accommodation

This backpackers felt more like a kiwi family bach. The guests, the amenities and the atmosphere were cozy, clean and very welcoming. We bought our dog along, and were glad to see bunnies and Guinea pigs were behind cages so she was able to roam without getting in their way. Note that this property isn’t fully fenced. Not a problem for us since our dog doesn’t wander. Our room had a shelf perfect fit for our border collies bed. It was also not too loud so we could keep her in the room during the day for naps while we explored places dogs couldn’t go. 100% recommend if you have a dog well behaved house trained doggy.

It is a good place to stay, near to town centre.

Our double shared a bathroom with just one other room which was great. We were only there for a night, but you could hire out surfboards or lessons at the hostel too.

Wonderful place to stay, with close proximity to the town's main road. Room was clean and today upon arrival and super quiet at night. Would stay there again!

I highly recommend! Amazing views, pure nature around you and really close to start (or end) the Routeburn track (it was the reason why we choose this accommodation).

Superbe endroit, jardin magnifique.Cuisine pas super propre et tables un peu collantes mais très pratique.Notre grande chambre pour 6 était correct dans l’ensemble.Pour une nuit c’est très bien.

Το Global village είναι ένα τέλειο μέρος για να μείνει κάποιος στο Greymouth. Το δωμάτιο και οι κοινόχρηστοι χώροι είναι πολύ ευχάριστοι και καθαροί. Οι οικοδεσπότες είναι πολύ βοηθητικοί και κάνουν το παν για μια ευχάριστη διαμονή. Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα και θα χαρώ πολύ να επιστρέψω ξανά.

Thanks to John! It was a nice and short stay in Taylorville, beautiful place to do day trips to Hokitika etc. Rooms are quite easy, but with everything you need. Cosy beds, and if you need anything John will reply pretty fast. I definitely recommend to stay there! Thank you!

I stayed for one night and had a great experience overall. The space was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a short stay. However, I slept in a high bed that didn’t have any guardrails or safety measures to prevent falling, which could be an issue for some guests. Apart from that, I enjoyed my time and would recommend it for those who don’t mind the bed setup!
