Old Fashioned Stunner

Original, Kiwi, 50's family bach with its own direct access to Coopers Beach. Rumpty, but comfy, and sitting on a large private section with room for cars and a boat. The bach is very private and quiet. It has magnificent uninterrupted views across Doubtless Bay, and you can walk down to the beach via a private path through the trees in 2 minutes. The bach has a heat pump, heaters and lots of blankets so that it remains cosy at night. We think it's the perfect place for a relaxing getaway!

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space with the sound of the sea and a view direct to beach. A 60sec walk to a safe swimming and surfing beach or just sit on your own deck and enjoy the view, listening to the crash of the waves. Its an easy walk around the rocks(not at high tide) to Shipwreck Bay and further on to more beaches. For the more adventurous, climb the sand dune to experience the most amazing views to Ninety Mile Beach and behind to another world.

Time out at Cable Bay

Our apartment is a peaceful serene space, right above the water. Steps & path through leafy garden lead to a secluded pohutukawa-fringed cove. The apartment is North facing with incredible sea views. This private, fully self-contained holiday apartment has a large deck, bbq & is beneath our home. We see Tui and Piwakawaka (Fantail) in the garden daily. We hear Kiwi sometimes and Ruru (morepork) often at night. Relax in our self-contained secluded leafy apartment!

The Blue Dolphin, Opononi, Hokianga

"The Blue Dolphin" 25 Harbour View Drive, is a small charming 120 year old cottage in a unique location on the water's edge in Opononi, facing north with uninterrupted views of the harbour and sand dunes. The information centre is next door as is the 4 square, fish n chip shop and the Opononi Pub! The cottage, which we treasure, has been refurbished - it is our private oasis and is to be respected and enjoyed - it is the genuine much loved "kiwi bach".

The Pohutukawa Cabin Karikari Lodge.

The Pohutukawa Cabin overlooks the treasured Karikari Bay. You will have your own quiet self contained garden cabin in a private setting with your own private walk around outside beach themed bathroom and rain forest shower with a view. There is free use of the WiFi, BBQ (with gas) Kayaks, SUP Paddle boards, and Boogie boards. Self help Continental breakfast provided. Calianne - Superb Beachfront Architecture

Simon Carnachan is responsible for designing a number of New Zealand's landmark beach houses. Calianne is a grand fusion of Simon's creativity, construction expertise and a substantial budget. The voluminous roof draws on influences from the communal buildings of the Pacific Islands. A theme that extends to the flow through ventilation, multiple adjustable louvres and sky-lights of cedar and glass provide air-conditioning courtesy of sea breezes.

The Blue Beach House

A sunny, spacious, rustic single level 70's bach sitting beach front on 90 mile beach. A perfect location to just pop out for a walk, surf or fish and to hang out with family and friends. There is a large deck to relax on and admire the views and the back lawn for kids to play is fenced off from the beach. Ahipara is a perfect playground for surfers, kiters, fishers, golfers, hikers and anyone who likes being close to the beach.
