We stayed here for 4 days and walked to the bamboo Forrest every day. It was a 10 minute walk from the train station which was convenient for traveling to other sites around Kyoto. We would stay here again.

一泊ではもったいないくらい素晴らしい場所でした。 普段のホテルでの宿泊よりもプライバシーがあり、ホテル等では子供たちが騒ぐのを気にして過ごすことが多いですが、今回はそれがなく、子供達も思う存分楽しんでいました。 また利用させていただきたいです！！

Haruka's apartment is situated very near Saiin-Station (5min walk) and its restaurants in a quite street. There is a supermarket 4min walk in the other direction. It is big with 2 bedrooms, a great bathroom, a washing-machine and everything you can need to cook in the tiny kitchen as well as spices, oil, tea, coffee... There are also brochures about Kyoto's attractions and a very interesting book about Japan's history. The best part of our stay at Haruka's House was to meet the owners (they live upstairs), who welcomed us as we arrived with many informations, japanese tea, fruits an sweats. As we left, the had looked for the train-connexions to our next destination and gave us nice advices as well as crackers for the trip. It was so nice, we felt at home from the first minute and we enjoyed so much their company. We even had the chance to borrow their bicycles to tour around Kyoto. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! We definitely hope to come back!!!

如果是有小朋友的家庭會非常推薦這裏喔！！我們這次是一家三代一起入住，非常舒服乾淨又寬敞，真的很享受，廚房設備非常完善，如果可以的話建議傍晚前就可以入住好好體驗，一樓和二樓都有廁所可以使用，非常方便，門口的草皮區域可以給小小朋友玩很安全，下次來一定會繼續選擇這家民宿，值的推薦的好地方！！

Very warm and helpful household (luggage room option). Good location (quiet and few minutes to Kyoto Station). Rooms very clean, spacious and cosy; beds very comfortable. Everything as described. I highly recommend it!

Mulan’s accommodation was perfect — we were happy to sleep on the tatami mats with our children. The place is very clean and welcoming. It was cold in the morning when we woke up, but we were warm and cozy under the thick comforters during the night. The bathroom is quite basic but very practical. The water is nice and hot, with great pressure. Communication with the host was very easy. They kindly drove us to the Golden Pavilion and then to the Silver Pavilion. They were very accommodating and helpful. They also dropped us off at the station so we could catch our train from Kyoto Station. The location is about 20 minutes by subway from Kyoto, and we enjoyed staying in such a peaceful residential neighborhood. There’s a FamilyMart on the street and a little place where we had some delicious pastries!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Hitoshi and Kei’s place. We found Cozy House to be extremely comfortable and well located for some excellent restaurants and quick transport links into and around Kyoto. Cozy House was super clean with plenty of thoughtful amenities, such as welcome snacks, coffee, water, toiletries and laundry detergent. The house has a traditional Japanese bathroom and the shower, in particular, was exceptional! Hitoshi’s communication was extremely good both before and during our stay, being quick to respond to questions and made a helpful suggestion on where to see the Sakura late in this season. I would highly recommend Cozy House to anyone looking for a quiet and convenient home during their visit to Kyoto!

I stayed at Aquabliss for about 6 weeks while looking for an apartment. I was surprised at the amount of amenities provided, including several beverage options, a few snacks, and toiletries. The apartment was very clean and had everything I needed for a long stay. The fountain was also peaceful to listen to. The area of the apartment is very quiet and you can easily access the Hankyu station and JR station within a 9 minute and 15 minute walk respectively. There are also several temples and shrines and a few convenience stores within walking distance. I would definitely recommend staying here!

This was a very pleasant surprise, the scenery in this town is like from a movie, we couldn’t believe how beautiful it was, our hist was extremely nice , she allow us to stay a bit more so we had enough time for breakfast. The house is very nice spacious clean, my only regret was that i didn’t stay more time. Is worth the travel there would definitely would advise stay at least two days. Thanks so much for all your help and hospitality.

A very lovely and memorable stay in Kyoto This is my 2nd time visiting Kyoto. The place is walking distance from Kyoto station. Very beautiful house in nice location. The house is keyless and very easy to access. This place is suitable for a group of 5. Having guest room, tatami room, small garden and specious bedroom. Host is very communicative and helpful. A very tipical of Japanese house, compact yet complete and very modern. Will surely come back with my family.

Stayed a second time for more than a month and loved every minute of it. Really great place for long term stays and pet friendly. Also has a garage space. Perfect for long term stays in general. The house is a beautiful old house, with both traditional and modern rooms. Very spacious and comfortable. There is little storage space but it's a big house so there's plenty of space to store luggage out of the way. Aircon and heaters were enough heating for the coldest part of the winter. Fully stocked with appliances and consumables in general, we didn't miss a thing. The area around is extremely convenient with a shopping mall, tons of great restaurants, places for sightseeing, specialised shops, and in the middle of Kyoto. A great place to explore the city. The hosts are kind and attentive and were responsive for the couple of time we needed something. They had prepared everything so well that we hardly needed anything anyway. Thank you so much for having us!

The location is fantastic — just a stone’s throw from the metro, and only 10 minutes to the city center. We really liked the area because it feels local and authentic, not touristy at all. The house is spacious, comfortable, well-equipped, and full of natural light. Niko is lovely and very thoughtful, which made our stay even better. If I had to mention something, a few things felt a bit worn, and the place wasn’t completely spotless, which we expected. But honestly, it didn’t affect our stay. I still totally recommend it and would definitely come back!

This accommodation is huge over 3 levels with an internal elevator. It also has an internal spiral staircase but it is extremely tight and wouldn’t be recommended for small children. The ground floor is a kitchen dinner, floors 2 and 3 are bedrooms each with 2 beds and a bathroom. The host was very accommodating and responsive, the location is in a smaller area and directly opposite the local train station which is super convenient, recommended particularly for 2x couples or if you stay with older children and or grandparents

Inari Home is a beautiful space that is minutes away from the metro station that brings you to Gion within 15 minutes. Giotto keeps it immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. She has been responsive and was flexible to allow us to drop off our luggage before check in. Thank you for the wonderful stay! 🙏🏻

Modern and fresh apartment. All the amenities that you need. Loved the recliner chairs to relax. Great kitchen with everything you need to cook for yourself. Large and easy to use bathroom with washing machine. Great outside area including hot tub. You’re right next to a bamboo forest. So very peaceful. Walkable to Fushimi Inari Shrine and 1000 red Torii if you are able bodied. Naoko responded to every request quickly and happily. Loved the treats for breakfast. Thanks Naoko.

Uzu ist ein sehr angenehmer und zuvorkommender Mensch. Sie hat uns viele gute Tipps und Empfehlungen gegeben. Zudem ist die Unterkunft perfekt, wenn man im traditionellen Japan schwelgen möchte. Der Aufenthalt war super angenehm und war ein großes Highlight auf unserer Reise. Das Kimono-Fotoshooting mit Uzu war eine wirklich einzigartige Erfahrung. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
