Deshka Landing Charters & Lodge is a 90 minute drive northwest of Anchorage. We are off the beaten path surrounded by the beauty and wildlife of Alaska. A good hub while you explore Central Alaska including: Denali National Park, MatSu Glacier, Talkeetna and Hatcher Pass. The Chinook dry cabin has it’s own mini-fridge, microwave, heater and electricity. All bathrooms/showers are located in the main lodge. Nightly rental of this cabin includes a continental breakfast. Little Bear cabin is nestled along the Boreal forest w/Caswell creek flowing through the property. You will hear birds sing, wind blowing the leaves of the birch tree and watch fish in the creek from kayaks or on our private trails.Our cabins are a place to reconnect. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Close to downtown Wasilla and only minutes away from restaurants. Take a 30 min drive to the top of Hatcher’s Pass and visit the Independence Mine and take a scenic drive over to Willow. Take a 1 hr drive to Talkeetna. Or go the opposite direction 1.5 hrs to Matanuska Glacier and take a guided tour out on the glacier! NO SMOKERS please as we live here as well and don’t enjoy the smell of cigarette smoke around our home. Thank you.

Enjoy the private trails, disc golf course, and fire pit. A full-size washer and dryer are available in a separate cabin for your use. There is one queen-sized bed and a futon couch, totaling space for up to 4 guests.

A small cabin built like a studio apartment. Very roomy and homey — quaint, quiet and simple. There’s a garden with fresh greens and herbs for your enjoyment and world class hiking and skiing within 10 minutes. Palmer and Wasilla are 15 minutes away. There’s a large parking area and shed with fun outdoor gear to use, as well as a wood burning cedar sauna. Though we ask that you request/message before using it. Want pets? Talkeetna Burl Cabin is pet friendly cabin located 5 miles from Talkeetna on a quiet country street. Many prior guests have written that their stay was one of the best they had in Alaska! Breakfast goodies and coffee are provided so you can relax during your stay. Please note that this is a dry cabin, water is provided and it also has an inside composting toilet. Wifi code MTA Talkeetnaburlcabin. During summer months I have a community greenhouse with neighbors coming and going!
